Despite signing Barnes it was a rather quiet summer, I signed Distel Zola for 2m on the last day. Also loaned in Boumsong, Semioli and Assulin. Semioli has been a fantastic signing, with 5 assists in 4 assists in 2 games - 3 of them coming in a Champions League game against CFR Cluj after coming on at half-time.

In the other game in my group, Barcelona - who I've now drawn 2 years in a row - beat PSV 8-5 :unsure:

On the pitch, my 2013/14 started excellently. Nine games, four defeats against the big four (although I matched Inter and was better than Roma) but five wins against the rest leaves me in a promising position. Four points from my next two games so I have 19 points from 11 games and I'm 6th.

Off the pitch, I've been raped by two majorish bugs. I accepted a conservative £7m budget with a £300k wage budget, but it didn't change from last season :huh: Luckily I still had over £3m remaining from last season to spend, but I've had to go over the wage budget. Coupled with the fact my stadium has been reduced to a 1700 capacity for no reason whatsoever. I wondered why the fuck I set a new record low attendance two games in a row, then I noticed, and I am not happy.

Started Man City season on Sunday, just saved before the last Prem game (My brothers got a team too!). They start with £5m and I was pretty annoyed before the £20m came in January and I couldn't decide who to buy. I'm 4th and just need to win the last game to be in the CL next year, its Fulham away and they're 20th so it should be ok.

Bought Eddie Johnson and he and Bianchi have been solid enough about 25 goals each. Signed Aartilo and Alex (Vasco) in the January both have been quite good. Micah Richards worth £14m and Michael Johnson £10m with a lot of interest in, both who have had amazing seasons. Corluka is good but had a 4 month injury. Bojinov hasn't had much of a chance since he came back. Sold Mpenza, Fernandes, Vassel, Samaras, Hamann Onuhua, Ball, Dickov and Mills. Hopefully get some good young talent in to replace them over the summer.

Dan, I can't believe you got Anelka. Hes scored 43 goals in the league for Bolton. :shocking: I'd love to have him.

I'm playing as Sampdoria, next year Barcelona's Asulin will be joining me, I'm also trying to sign Thiago(Catalan, again). Sherman Cardenas has just agreed terms to a contract with me.

Can anyone recommend me a few centre-backs/side-backs. I'm also in need of a very cheap striker, do you think Jozy Altidore or Victor Moses could do a good job for me?

A great young centre-back is Yegor Filipenko. He becomes quality, I've had to loan him out until he eligible for a work-permit, but once he comes back I reckon he'll challenge Dunne for a starting position. Another two I've had to loan out are Yuval Fogelman & Dor Malul. They seem to be coming along nicely too.

EDIT: I just signed Sarpong and Cardenas for 850K and 250K respectively. Ajax were not agreeing to less than that but I'm happy with my signings. :happy:

Van Der Vaart and Elano are beasting man, absolute class. I've got Diarra and Camacho as defensive midfielders, while rotating the likes of Aaritalo, Petrov, Nani and Gouffran if I'm playing wide-men. Corluka is worth 11m now and Chelsea and Arsenal are interested - I might be tempted to sell soon. ¬_¬ I'm on the verge of signing Riise too.

My only trouble now is I'm expected to compete for the title. :doh:

Moses, no. If you really need a striker I'd personally look for good players who are unwanted and just offer a free loan - 9 times out of 10 they accept.

My second season with Rangers has been very succsessful so far, top of the league, 19 points ahead of Celtic. Also made it to the champions league last 16 on the last day after a very convincing 4-1 away win at PSV. I thought I had blown it against CFR Cluj, throwing away a 2 goal lead to draw 2-2 at Ibrox. The player of the season without a doubt so far is Gilles Barnes. Converted him to centre forward due to injuries to most of my strikers and he has been a complete revelation. 16 goals in 9 (yes 9) games says it all. 4 goals away to PSV and 2 away to Celtic, prove that he is not just a winger but is a ruthless striker also. Aye he scored 52 overall, fucking impressive shite. I think they only finished about 12th because they had a shit start but then went unbeaten for 20+ games. I'll see if I can sign him but I doubt it.

I found them two in bold to begood players too. Yoel Goldstein and Toto Tamuz look good Israeli's.

Got a quality bunch in my U-19s, Ill get some screenies later. Four or five are out on-loan though. Alex (Vasco), Anton Sosnin and Sergio Mota are joining in January too.

Maybe I should do a Ransgerman and get Barnes though, looking at his record! :huh:

It's too good and far too addicting. I just had a look at my Liverpool season which I quit at the beginning of the fourth season and I've put more than 3 full days in. :no: I need to give it a rest tbh.
