I finished a disappointing 7th and got beat 3-1 in the FA cup final by Liverpool. I'm in the UEFA cup though and I've strengthened my team quite a bit so I'm hoping for 4/5th this season, I start with Chelsea at home, I'm gona beat the cunts and send out a message. I'll post my team once I've gotten all my targets in, I play 4-5-1 so I might go after a better back up striker than Bojinov, probably just someone with a few years left in him..

Getting pissed off with everyone coming in for Richards, Corluka and Johnson. I bought Cranie to shut Johnson up, be he still wants to go to Man Yoo, the shitting rat.

add "-small_screen -windowed"

on the end of the target area

target is right click on the shortcut, properties, target area.

To play it in windowed mode, untick the "Full Screen" option in the Preferences -> Display & Sound section. No need to add switches to the executable.

It's the very first thing I did when buying FM 2006 and similarly the first thing I've done with 2007 and 2008.

does not always work don sweey, well it did not for me as im on a laptop, you have to add that for it to be played on a windowed smaller screen.

Well my scout reckons he can be twice the player Petrov is. I've played 5 friendlies and he started 1 and was on the bench for the other 4 and he got 6 goals. Strangely, all these goals came when he came off the bench and while was playing attacking midfield. :unsure: He's at the bloody Olympics now, as is Banega but I'm not too bothered as I didn't really want start them against Chelsea, I don't like giving big money signings debuts against big clubs in case they have a shocker/play shite. I don't have enough faith in my players. :/

Have you try restarting the game after you input the "-small_screen -windowed"?

I have the same problem as PEM in that I have to play Full Screen. I get round that by just pressing the Windows button on my keyboard when I want to minimise it... fairly simple really.

Nevermind, I figured it out.

"X:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Worldwide Soccer Manager 2008\wsm.exe" -small_screen -windowed

It should look exactly like that...I wasn't putting the space after exe.

That is what I used to do but it takes to long, and you don't know if someone messaged your or when the game is done loading. I just got this small screen to work and its so much easier to play.

Is there anyway to not play this game in full-screen mode? I want to be able to do other things while playing.

If you want to do something, first, make sure you load a programme before you start the game, then simply press the alt and tab button together while you are playing.

Just won the league, 5 games left to go, just progressed to the semi final of the CL with a aggregate win of 5-0 over Inter Milan. 3-0 away and 2 at home.

Johnson is off to Man Yoo for 18 million. God I hate him, I hope he rots in their reserves. He missed training three times and had the nerve to complain when I fined him, twat! I'm going to buy a world-class striker and go to 4-4-2. Owen and Anelka are interest, but they're getting on a bit...

In which season are you in? Possibly Eto'o. I guess you're a few seasons in, Bojan, dos Santos and Messi are probably the main strikers of Barca. You might as well try get Eto'o.

Corluka's off to Chelsea now, 20 million + clauses. The chairman accepted it saying it was too good of a deal. :shifty: Anelka is coming in for 7 million too, while Johnson and Corluka are now strutting their stuff in the reserves and it's only November. :smug:
