 That's probably why then.

We should create another thread with a poll and see how many are interested.

problem is that when we want to play everyone has to be online at the same time for the game to work properly, so really we should limit this to 2-4 people as if we have too many the game would go nowhere.

Hey how do you begin a game with your next opponent? Like once you are manager of a team what/where do I have to click to play my next opponent?

I'm guessing it's the first time you've seen/played any of the Football Manager games.

Don't worry - it can look very daunting at first. I'd recommend reading through the in-game tutorial/help section thing if you're at a complete loss.

In essence, though, the is divided into two main sections - matchdays and everything else.

In between matches, the screen you'll visit most will be the news screen (F3, I believe). After this, your squad screen is the most handy one. This can be accessed by clicking on your team's name, or via the "Manager" menu.

Almost everything in FM '08 is a link, as well - anywhere a name appears (be it of a player, club, anything!), clicking it will take you to the item in question. Just play around and you'll find everything you need to eventually!

nice downloads there

Just click continue and it will bring you to the match itself.

i installed almost every recommendation of yours and now FM seems like a whole new game.. buut.. i cant find out how the player icons on the pitch will get to work. placed them in the file: C:\Documents and Settings\*******\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics\pitch\icons\kit\Player kits\ as that italian site suggested and also tried placing them straight into the graphics folder, and tried other alterations etc.. but still not working. i searched through other sites for solutions, including ur instructions and you are my last chance.

Inside your My Documents, place them in Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\data\graphics\pitch\icons\kit. The download should have three separate sub-folders - small, medium and large. Place these (and their respective contents) in the directory above.
