Football Manager 2008 [PC/Mac]

I'm about 3 weeks into my first season with United and I've bought Baba, he'd better come good. Also bought Alan Hutton for £3.5 million and two youngsters on youth contracts, John Fleck and Thiago. Fleck looks like he is going to be brilliant.

Edit: Just beat Chelsea in the Community Shield 3-1 with Rooney getting all three, this is his form this season,

i cant get the 3d players, nets and balls working. could someone help please?

Fleck looks like he is going to be brilliant.

He is awesome in the game.

Plus in real life he was on the bench for our games in about August time and he's only 16. He plays with the under 19's and 21's normally and was captain of the Scotland under 18's.

Really tight at the top of the league so far, only two points between the top four,



Newcastle have signed some guy called Riga who is ripping most teams apart this season. I've had to struggle with only Rooney and Tevez up top as Baba Collins didn't get a work permit and Louis Saha keeps getting injured.

One of my scouts actually gave me a report card on Mota and Alex (after I'd signed him) when scouting Brazil, funnily enough.

Just finished my first season as Man Utd manager,



Bit weird going out of the CL in the groups and then going on to win the league quite comfortably and, at least, make the final of the rest of the cup competitions. Here is the breakdown of the Premiership stats,



I don't think I will be getting much cash to spend next season as my balance was in the red the whole season until the payouts at the end of the season.

I've done it on the older version, I can't imagine there being too much difference. How did you try doing it?

well he created a game and then gave me his i.p address, and i assumed it was the server number :doh: it would not connect to the server, so i asked dan what the server number was and he had no idea.


Whats the way you did it on the last game TG?

Well I just made the game and changed the preferences so it can be played as a server then you give your I.P address to the other person to put in...So basically how you did it.

Do you both have the same updates because it has to be the exact same for everyone?

not sure but the 8.0.1 patch don't work on mine as the Fm i "bought:shifty:" does not work if i install the patch.

Then everybody would have to have the patch off or it wouldn't work, that might of been the problem.
