Hey , i was just wondering what was the most cups that you won in a season?? Mine was 5 ,with barca... i could of got 6 but stupidly enough i lost to Sao Paulo in the World Club Championships...Still havent won that yet

I ended up picking Albinoleffe last night. Only played one game, a 1-0 friendly loss away to Saint-Priest - a result which made headlines :no:

I've signed a handful of players including Marco Del Vecchio (Delvecchio), Pablo Paz and Gabriel Schurrer but missed out on Luigi Di Biagio. I had to get a left-back as I basically started without a natural one and am still looking for a second as the other one I went for decided to join a crap club other than us. Similarly, I've missed out on two other players I was after and am in desperate need of a decent goalkeeper and some central midfielders.

I've made a move for Ivan Pellizoli who is transfer listed at £240,000 though if I don't manage to sign him I think I'm going to be in a bit of bother as alternatives such as Tommaso Berni (£120,000) are much worse in comparison.

I'm loving my transfer budget of £250,000 :laugh:...probably won't be when I end up getting relegated. My media prediction at the start of the game is either 11th or 17th - I forget - and the board only want to remain in Serie B over the two-year period of my contract. Fingers crossed :|

You can often get MLS players on frees in the winter months. Try Brad Guzan or Chris Seitz for a keeper.

I started a game this morning in the Ukrainian league with Shakthar, I soon switched it off as it wasn't much of a task with them giving me £40 million to spend on new players.

You can have a maximum of 7 non eu players in the starting 11, and with the ease of the league, plus the money I managed to bring in Van Der Vaart, Jimmy Briand, Jan Paul Seijs, and a 19 year old keeper from Santos. After 12 games, i've won 12, and condeded just 2 goals. Chernomorets are keeping up with me while Dnipro and Dinamo Kiev are suprisingly struggling at mid-table.

I played my Albinoleffe game for half an hour this morning.

After 1-0 friendly defeats to Saint-Priest and Gueugnon both of which made headliens and being 4-1 down at half-time in a friendly away to Cittadella last night (lost 4-3 in the end), I'd turned things around and this morning even managed a 1-0 friendly win over Willem II. A nice result, plus I tweaked a few things, spent ages sorting out squad numbers and moved for a couple of players.

Then, in a moment I can only describe as dopey, I declined to save the game as I exited...only to quickly realise I hadn't saved it at any stage this morning :doh:. Looks like I'm up against Willem II again tonight. Might end up with an easier Coppa Italia draw though as Chievo Verona (joint favourites for promotion from Serie B) were clearly going to wipe their arses with me.

Just finished my first season in charge of Shakhtar. Managed to win the Ukrainian High League after a play-off with Dinamo Kiev. I also won the Ukrainian Cup after a 1-0 win in the final against Kryvbas.

Managed to do some good deals in the transfer window. Nery Castillo has come back after an unsuccesful loan with Man City. I also managed to sign Daniele Dessena (Parma) for £4.5million, Anatoliy Tymoschuk (Zenith St. Petersburg) for £5.5 million, and managed to get Luis Jimenez (Ternana/Inter Milan) for £4million. I've got £14million left to bring in a striker. Any suggestions?

I'll post some screenshots later, including my impressive 6-1 win at the Nou Camp. Still finished 4th in the Champions League group even after that.

How do you go about converting people to a new position ? Trying to convert Martins into a winger, not a Striker.
Anybody help me out ?.
I seen 50! done it with Giles Barnes, but to a striker.

When you are in Martins' profile there's a bar on the left that says "Training" or something, how happy he is with the training and what schedule he is one etc.

It should say "New Position" somewhere. I think :unsure:

Decided that I really need to get a consistent season going. After much discussion with my mate in college, decided I'm gonna try go Werder. The problem is, they only have like 3.5M to spend, and only a 5k starting difference in the budget.
I have a few players down that I could go for, but its going to be a tough season, given the things that could use a change around the team.
The advisors say I should get in a couple of extra midfielders, but I think what I really could use is someone class upfront, and a winger to play on the left in a 4-4-2. I was going to try get Neri Cardozo from Boca(served me well in the past) but I'm unsure on if I can afford him.

If anyone has any past experience with Bremen, please give me a hand.

FA Cup is without a doubt my weakness, but I think it's just down to bad luck, I've made the semi finals the last 3 seasons, and got drawn against Chelsea ALL 3 times, and got beaten ALL 3 times 2-1, which pretty much sucks.

But it's same for Sunderland, I've drawn them in the 6th round twice, and then the 5th round, flogging them something like 4-1, 3-0, 3-1 all 3 times.

Chuffed when I won the league in 09, it was only by 2 points, then on my defence, I lost the title by 1 point, then Arsenal had a runway if you will, beating me by 3 points, so I've been there or there abouts last couple of seasons.

In my CL winning season, beat Real 2-1 in the final, at Oriel Park in Ireland, some random stadium that has a 12,000 capacity, very interesting.

I feel I've got quite a solid squad, and I have several youth players out on loan in League 1 + 2, where they can hopefully dominate, and since I upgraded my youth system to state of the art, I got some potential gems on my hands, about 5 of the people that came out this year, are potential Premierleague players, not bad at all.

Daniel Pacheco (20) ST - If he doesn't perform on loan, I'll be selling him
Barry Vaughan (19) ST - My most exciting youth prospect currently, signed him from Nottingham Forest's youth academy for 2.7m, and made a instant impact coming off the bench to score the winner against Man City, though it was his only goal in 13 games for us in the Prem last season

Trecarichi is only 20, and already has 44 U21 caps for Argentina, not bad at all.

Also poached a 16 year old keeper from Real Madrid who had yet to sign professional terms with them, big wraps on him apparently :smug:

for some odd reason, my game lags on the odd occasion when I have nothing else running. . However, when I turn it off my CPU usage is back to normal. Anyone have this problem, or can shed some light?
