EDIT: Only went and got sacked didn't I! Stupid game!

Half of my squad was injured, I had about 5 games in hand for some reason as I hadn't played a league game for over a month. Was into the quater finals of the Europa League as well!

Recently started a new game with SS Lazio as I had lost interest in my Kettering save. Currently in Jan in my 1st season and sitting 3rd in the league. Still conceding too many goals but fortunately I'm scoring more.

Started a new game myself too after having not played for a few months. Finished 5th in my first season, started off poorly then picked it up but then it all went shit at the end. Sold off Benteke and Milner this season though as they were a bit disappointing.

You barely gave Benteke a chance, only one season? In my Kettering game, he was one of the best goalscorers in England. Won top scorer on a few occasions.

Just finished my first season with Lazio. Finished 2nd in the league, runners-up in the Coppa Italia and got to the Quarter Finals of the Europa.

So after 10 games into the new season I got sacked. Was 12th in the league but only 9pts behind top. Problem was that I just wasn't scoring. 5 of my main attackers were all injured at various stages within the first 6 weeks. But fuck Lazio, I just got hired as the Palermo manager and I'm going to win Serie B and then Serie A within 7 seasons.

So I want to get back into manager games. Has this actually made any innovations in the past five years?

The fact that you can currently get it for a tenner should negate any hesitancy surrounding buying the latest version.

Small improvements occur year-on-year, but over the course of five years that would probably add up to a significant improvement on the overall game.

Got sacked in my third season with Arsenal, this always seems to happen with me. First season I do ok and barely get into Europe, second season I do really well and challenge for the title and then in the third season I can barely win a game!

Now managing Feyenoord now though!

David Moyes took over from me and about every other team has different managers now, only United (SAF) City (Mancini) remain from the start of the game.
