once again sony has screwed over europe. while the rest of the world gets a price cut u guys get nothing. at least 360 came out at the same time as everywhere else. if i lived in europe i would never buy a ps3. sony has made it clear they dont care about u. so buy a 360 because pes 7 will be just as good as the ps3 version and the online will probably be a lot better.

Wait...
they haven't cut prices in europe but what they have done is bundled more stuff in with the ps3 like a few controllers and a few games which amount to the $100 which has been cut off the console in america. so in conclusion, no the haven't screwed europe over

Dude does it really matter, I'm glad you're happy with your Xbox but what's the harm in people wanting to buy a Playstation 3?

Competition is good for both companies, how shite would it be if the only option there was was Xbox?

It's expensive right now but it does come included with a blu-ray player which seems to winning over HD-DVD. A stand alone Blu-ray player would cost you at least 300 quid right now.

Meh, each to there own.

The Blu-Ray player seems to be forced onto you now though. Anyway I agree, each to their own. Competition is only good for the crowds.

I think the only good thing for Sony users to look forward to is MGS4 + the potential the PS3 has.

From what has been reported and so on, MGS4 seems to be a multi-platform game now. Therefore no longer an exclusive to the PS3, which may suck for people who bought a PS3 for MGS but if so then anyone who buys a console on the basis of 1 game is a moron.

I think it's still a PS3 exclusive but Konami are waiting to see if PS3 sales pick up. If they don't then it may very well go over to the Xbox too.

It's not as if MGS4 is the only game that Sony have worth looking forward too. LittleBigPlanet, UTIII, Killzone 2 ( not a fan myself), Haze looks good,. Of course it needs some more system-sellers but Sony isn't crazy, they'll get there.

Do not forget the hordes of Final Fantasy fans.

Hasn't the PS3 still got Home to be realeased? That that boost Sony's online gaming surely and would be something to look forward too.

Got to agree with Haribo, it's not my cup of tea but it does capture what the masses want (going by the success of The Sims, Second Life and such). Plus it's way better looking than the aforementioned.

Rangers_Fureva - if you get rid of your PS3, you should get the Xbox 360 Elite - it's basically the same only in black, with better high-def + a 120GB hard drive :)
