formations

i use a 3-4-1-2 formation. u just need really good defenders and a solid defensive mid.

my valencia master league team is as follows:

4-2-2-2, which turns into a 2-4-1-3 for attacking. Gave Zyg a few probs in the national league , but managed to shoot myself in the foot and score 2 own goals

The best formation 3-4-3, with a straight back 3, then have a diamond 4 in midfield, and a straight 3 up front

or Catenaccio: 4-5-1 with a libero and 2 DMF's

i tend to play 3-4-3 a lot (especially when im inter) but you really do have to take your chances cos you will concede with it if your playing a decent player.

otherwise i just stick to most teams default formations (italy, brazil, argi, man u, real)
if i need to score tho i go to 442 diamond, well easy to score with that formation!

i play a 4-3-3 but make sure my left and right back don't go forward, makes for a very solid defence

Also put both wingers right down next to the corner flags and they're always free for a through ball

I ues various formations: 4-4-2 (diamond), 3-5-2 (various),3-4-3, 4-5-1 & 4-3-3 (4-5-1 & 4-3-3 are usually pretty similar). With 4-3-3, you are almost guarenteed to thrash whoever you play.

The most important things about my formations are setting the right defence and attack arrows.
