Can't you turn it off by pressing R2 or something? Like I heard you can in free kicks? Your choice if you want to tell the opponent where you're putting it really.

I agree about the dots for the free kicks. That ish is awful. I thought there would be an option to disable it?

Overall I like the game. The manual shooting really feels like manual shooting. PES 2013 felt more like it was assisted a little bit.

So I got to play the American demo last night ( 5-6 games), and me likey.

The Animations are just sexy. The crowd atmosphere is great. The new player interaction stuff finally modernizes PES some. The Shooting seemed very good.

The Menus ( as others said) are pretty bad. The game plan screen especially. The Commentary is terrible too.

Game Plan has looked amateurish for years, but then I don't think I've ever really liked the Team Management screens in any football game.

No the game management screen is not just bad, its almost unusable with the 360 controller :(. Dragging a player to a position takes about 20 seconds no joke. Not sure if its lag or what?!

Also to the person who said its my choice if I tell the player where I put it... Well the round circle showing where im going to put it gives it away really!

I tried pushing all the buttons the dots did not go away, only had 4 games so far so will play some more later to see if I can get them off. The game feels about 80% finished, hope this is not the final version...

Why isn't the demo showing up on my PS3? I've looked for new demos but it's not there.

In fact I can't find it for PC either. So where have people got there demos from?

Which PSN store are you using? The UK one? It usually updates around 5:00pm ish on Wednesdays. I was surprised the Fifa demo was up yesterday, they must've made an exception for it.

Well that sucks. Guess I'll just have to try fifa - I have not liked a single fifa since fifa 98, but I sometimes play them just to see, and when they are about £2 I buy them for the trophies.

the night time matches look like a real match if you look at the tv from a distance i use a none HD tv aswell so ermmmm

I've downloaded both demos (fifa and pes) KONAMI really has changed the game a lot faces,kits,gameplay,animations, ball physics so far seems it is the game we have been expecting all this years :)

Use the d-pad dude, it's much faster.

Game feels amazing, animations are sexy indeed and the Fox enginge collision and cloth mechanics look great. Graphics look cleaner and crispier and the faces in my opinion look fucking amazing, especially compared to FIFA'S salmonella faces.

Not sure if I'm feeling the fifa esqe gameplay, it's a lot harder to take people on, even with Ronaldo on a red arrow. I don't want pro to be a poor mans fifa but it's got a decent balance between dribbling past players messi style and getting tackled easily.

Problems though, it's very laggy in cutscenes, almost likes the frames per seconds are really low, like 15FPS. Commetary is fucking shit as usual. I hope the laggy cutscenes get fixed.

Apart from that this game is very close to PES 5!!

Thats totally not a solution at all, what about if you want to throw all your players up front in the last seconds? Literally will take about 10 minutes to get them up there!

Cutscenes I agree. Think it could be the grass...

Graphics are good but some faces are strange, Johnny Evans and Rafael WTF?!

If they mess up players so badly who play for such a big team I reckon there will be plenty of hilarity with players from lower teams. I think they Google image searched Evans tbh and got the wrong person:facepalm:.
First impressions; the gameplay is decent but I'm finding the game a bit stiff when defending, but might be because I haven't changed any
assist settings. Shooting is vastly improved.

I'm happy with the game so far, all I wanted all these PS3 years was a NEW PES game, not just PS2 engined remakes, and finally Konami delivered.
Downloaded both PES and FIFA demos at the same time, played one FIFA match, and couldn't stand it.
PES on the other side is such an enjoyment I couldn't believe it. It's just like having PES 4/5/6 gameplay running on a new engine.
One thing I'm still waiting for is more complete info about the editing capabilities.
