Anyone found that they seem to play the same teams in cup tournaments? My first season at Arsenal i ended up playing Chelsea in the semi-final of champions cup and league cup losing one and winning other then i have played west ham in the final of league cup. same happened season after. and this season i played chelsea again in semi-final of champions cup which we won. anyone else noticed this?

Cheers. It seemed like it was going to be a bit of a bad one having changed in the January window, but the England call-up was a nice surprise. This mode is definitely the best addition to PES so far, even better than Master League, imo and I get into that a lot with my own created team.

i'm at my 2nd season, playing for real betis. Top goal scorer, league's best player and league best eleven. Using a ps2 for PES 2009. AGE of my player is 19 year's old.

I play as a striker.
I started my career at Hull City,but couldnt get into the first team.Then Newcastle United came in for me in the transfer window,so i was off!
Had 2 seasons with the Toon,scoring about 8 goals in total including a debut goal against Man U at old trafford!
I then moved on to Middlesbrough,playing one season and scoring 3 goals.
Then followed a horrible season in France with valenciennes in which i hardly played,so i moved to Spain with Numancia,scoring 6 goals in a seasons stay.
Next came a move to Italy to sign for Lecce,and my best season yet,scoring seven goals and winning 7 man of the match awards.
Wanting to return to the premier league,I decided to sign for Fulham at the end of the season.
Im now four games in,i've scored 3 goals and we are sitting in 19th place in the Prem.

Started a new BAL at Villa and couldn't get a full game. Left in the first transfer window and went to tottenham where they're are in a lower league position, but more play and pay.

Now well into the 2nd half of my first season with Boro. Regular starter & usually get a full 90 mins with the odd game off the bench due to fatigue. Having a stamina of 83 makes life easier.

Scored in my full 1st team debut against the pool in a 1-1 draw. Drawing far too many games though. Scored 2 in the first 5 mins (a sweet volley, and a deft header) against Hull, only to conceed 2 cheap goals at the neck end of the second half. :no: Frankly our defence is shite.

Currently joint top scorer for the side with Mido (8). When Mido plays I don't score, he seems to not like me... Fortunately he's been injured for the last 4 games so have taken my chance & scored 5 goals.

End of the season I'm definately moving. Mido is just too much of an ass.

i'm in my second season. Started it out with Almeria then transferred to deportivo. Scored 2 goals, assisted in several ones too. Originally AMF but never played as AMF! Played as CMF in Almeria. In Deportivo I was placed as a RMF, LMF, CF and once as DMF!! Among those my favorite is RMF. Next time I will chose a team that has AMF in the formation. love creating chances and making killer passes.

I also realized that the ranking or scores that you receive also depends strongly on keeping or gaining possession. For instance if you have the ball and you complete passes you get rewarded for keeping possession (that's obvious). but if you also have alot of successful intercepts your score will be higher which rewards marking and keeping an eye on players in open spaces and predicting opponent's passing.

I'm simply loving this game! When I'm actually playing and not on the bench, this game feels like a real football game! and oh man, when I scored a goal from outside the box (once) or assisted by delivering a nice thru pass! That was awesome!!

haven't started ML yet and I think BAL is going to be it for now!

Yeah. I don't get why we don't get training. I fixed this issue though, created a duplicate of my player in EDIT mode and placed him in the Italy team so that I could practice shots, etc.

Started the first two England qualifiers. Scored two headers from corners against Ireland and the first from outside the area just before half-time in a 2-1 win over Norn Iron. I've scored two in a game a few times, but the hat-trick eludes me still. Got Russia next.

Managed to win my first league title with my main Legend Batista, was top scorer in the league and in the Team of the Season with Espanyol. 36 league goals in all, plus a few here and there in Cup (lost final to Barcelona) and Masters Cup (knocked out by Chelsea in semis).

Was pretty tense. 3 games to go, was top by 2 points. Played Bilbao away, managed to lose 1-0. Barcelona were in 2nd, but they won and went top by 1 point. Then had Barcelona away, penultimate game of the season. Managed to win 2-1, both goals were rebounds off my shots. Won 1-0 with a goal from me off the bench (1st game in the ENTIRE season I didn't start... bizarre) against Villareal in the last match to clinch the title.

Oops, forgot to mention - took the best offer in the negotiation period (been at Espanyol a season and a half, and wanted to move up in the world, despite my fondness for the club)... and sold out to Chelsea. 1800 salary. Hehe.

I just wanted to know has anyone, been injured yet? Like long term, what do you do?just skip all the weeks?my player went down injured(he was ok though) and made me wonder what if it had been long term.

True, there are hurdles encoded into the game that means its highly improbable to have that stat avrg and goal rating in your first season(even if you have already played it alot)...doing the do over thing is still not easy though, it seems alot less fun for more work.....

So .. what really is the secret behind suomisofts SS form? It Is: I have recasted completely my SS body. Because of that he is much faster, well balanced and good header from the beginning.

Also I have played a lot, so I know my game. With good speed and well timed moves you can almost beat everything and I mean everything :shocking:

But it helps you a lot if you have a good balance + header too... and also, if you know how to play the game, in other words: how to put your skills in use.

You can have all these skills and high ratings and still you can´t get anywhere if you don´t know what you are doing. :huh:

However, ultimately, your success in game depends on yourself.

I spended hours to get my SS form look like it is now and I can say that I´m very satisfied so far. :happy:

Yeah ... I edited my player in the beginning and it helped me to get these results.

Reached the end of my first season. Ended the season with 10 goals, 7 mom & no mip's. Ave rating ~6.5. After several more yells at Mido I decided enough was enough & packed my bags & did the traitor trick... left Boro & signed for Newcastle. Annoyingly, despite moving to get away from Mido, the bugger only zipped off to Spain the folloing week... Git.

Also had offers from Bolton, Hull & Chievo, but Newcastle felt like the right choice. 3 Training games later & I made the bench. Was stuck on it for the first game (we were beaten 2-0 by Villa, 2 pens & 2 red cards!!).

Second game on the bench against Chelsea... hardly any possession, but came on as a sub for Owen after 70 mins, & set up Martins with a nice through ball. 1-0. Have rated higher than Owen in all training games & again in the match against Chelsea. The midgets place is looking unsafe.

On a side note... Viduka was already injured when I signed... :huh:

I thought that i will change every players Injury to B and C, because there is only few players who ever can injury?!? It`s not realistic In real life every team have couple players injured all the time. I can change those and it will come to BAL-mode without creating new.
