How many people own both Fifa 09 and PES 09??

Dont turn this into a big fifa -v- pes argument, if you prefer pes and dont buy fifa fine we dont need to know whats better

Just wondered how many people actually give both a try instead of bein closed minded an just buying one an slaggin the other one off

I own both, but only ever play FIFA. I've played PES about 3 times since I bought it.

The problem with it, for me (without heading into the online side of things), is that it feels too samey, and has done for years. People may still prefer PES over FIFA, and I respect that decision, but there's no doubting FIFA has come a lot further than PES on next-gen.

And if this does turn in to a PES vs. FIFA war, I'll be quick to close the thread. :)

Yeah i dont want a PES -v- FIFA war, always pointless and people need to realise everyone has a different opinion an likes different things in the game!

I havent bought fifa for ages, but did buy Euro 2008 an loved it, an just decided to get Fifa from play.com as its only £17.99

I have actually been playin Euro 2008 recently online as the game is much better online, hope Fifa is just as good an really hope PES 10 is even better online!

I bought PES 2009 on its release and really enjoyed it. I didn't really see what everyone was complaining about until I bought Fifa 09 about 3 months ago. Fifa is miles ahead of PES in terms of player movement, tussles and heading. I went back to play PES about a month ago and it felt quite arcadey and far too fast in comparison. I still think PES is the more addictive of the two games though and the shooting is far better.

I think they've both got their plus and minus points and are both very different (to say they're both football games!). I'm hoping I only have to fork out for PES 2010 this year though!

I own both of them.
Since I got my 360 back, I can start playing fifa too. I own fifa on X360 and own pes on 360 and ps3.
I like them both personally.
Both have their good side and bad side.
This particular month, I am playing fifa more since I'm giving manager mode (awesome) a try with Sampdoria.
But from time to time, I still play BAL and CL on pes.

I had both. I got PES first and then got Fifa and found it hard to go back to PES after playing Fifa. I have since sold PES.

I have both. Pretty much the opposite of Baddar. Played Fifa about 10 times. I keep bringing it out and trying to give it another chance but still haven't gotten into it. I don't think it's "bad" though.

About me and Baddar both though -- you could say that neither of us has really given the "other game" a fair chance.

I'm still playing PES and finding new things about it, especially as my ML players get better (new animations for acrobatic kicks that other players can't do, etc.). Also I love the challenge level in PES this year. For me it's not too easy not too hard on Top Player(so far). I never know if I'm going to win for sure or not, and with the exception of one goal (GK glitch) I think the CPU is less cheap than in previous years. Some things they do or don't do are predictible, but not all.

I think both are good games, but like most people I only really have time to play one, and once you're hooked on one it's probably difficult to switch. Cheers to those who are able to play both regularly, but I choose to play other games (COD, Fallout, etc) when I'm not playing PES.

ive never bought fifa since 2002 but this year i lent it ,and had a few weeks on it ,initially impressed with it ,but that didnt last long ,and its a £10 cheaper from new

i have to say this tho ,if konami doesnt produce a decent game this year ,i will consider buying fifa or none at all

I own both. FIFA 09 on X360, and PES2009 on PS3 for the editing stuff.
I play FIFA 09 much more than PES2009.

" FORGET THE REST, WE ARE THE BEST!!! " did you get pulled up for having it as fuck the rest ?

i have fifa on the 360 & pes on the ps3. i have been playing fifa manager mode until it decided to freeze on the 3rd season about halfway through. no matter how many times you load it or try to sim the match it freezes. this made me go back to pes and give bal a try and after about 5 seasons in i'm loving it, i scored the winner in the uefa cup final and then set up the goal to win the league on the last day of the season so it's safe to say i'm loving pes now but it's took a bloody long time to get there this year.

I bought Pro 09 on the day of release, as I always have done.

I bought Fifa 09 the other week.

I'm playing Fifa more nowadays though.

I have both and only ever play Fifa. First time i've owned Fifa in 10 years might i add, and i still can't believe EA have finally done a great job with it. 6 months in and i'm still learning how to correctly use the more intricate controls, especially the trick stick and pace control/jostle. It just gets better and better. And using all manual controls which is all i do now takes it to that extra level. I used to think that PES had a lot of depth but it's like a puddle in comparison to the vast ocean of Fifa. You only have to look at the top 10's that they do on EAfootballworld.com to see the endless possibilities of the game.
