It's great. Will definitely buy the full game. But some people will probably dislike it because its not like COD4.

COD4 seems to be pretty crap in comparison because it feels so floaty. Once you get used to the controls, the KZ2 feels better.

I had a go last night and it does look mighty pretty. I only had the one go so can't say too much but what I did play I really enjoyed.
I haven't played CoD in possibly over a year so I have no problems with the controls. Although I imagine, for those who play CoD way too much, it would be like when I first played FIFA I had to config them with the Pro Evo buttons.

I played a bit of the demo. Felt dizzy afterward because I haven't played a FPS game in months. The only negative so far is the controls. I do not like holding the L2 while crouching.

Does anyone notice that the menu uses the sixaxis?

Looks like i'll have to check. Will make it a lot better.

Im pretty impressed though, those who rape COD (like me) probably find the turning a little sluggish, but you get used to it after a while.

Oh wow. This demo is amazing.

This full game is gunna be amazing. Definately one i'll be buying. Without a doubt. Possibly even the best first person shooter i've played.

I love Killzone 2. Feels like there is a lot of depth in the shooting. Kills have never been so satisfying.

COD is good. However they are different types of FPS

One is an Arcade version of FPS and the other is more like a simulation of the genre.

Killzone 2 is really good.
Guerrilla Games have shown they have balls with this game. They could have made it very similar to COD like Resistance. If they did that they would have drowned in a crowd of COD copies.

People say it's a generic shooter, I don't think so. A realistic simulation of combat is innovative in itself. This requires a lot more thought then your everyday shooter.

It stands out from the rest, for a good reason.

After a first run through of the demo I was undecided and uncomfortable. Now that I've sorted the controls to suit me it is undeniably great. A feature I particularly like is the explosives; I shot a fire extinguisher and it flew across the ground into a Helghast and exploded. :happy:

And since the online component is supposed to be much better than single player campaign, I can't wait to try it out.

I really want to play the full game now. It's a pretty awesome game once you get better at it.

GG came out and said it wasn't the first level of the game, even though it does feel like it.

BTW
EDGE gave this 7/10
and gave Fear 2 8/10

I played the Fear demo, it was enjoyable but it wasn't better then the Killzone demo that is for sure.

Edge comes out with terrible reviews. Just looking at a few FPS games only, they gave Resistance 2 6/10, Bioshock 8/10, and Halo 3 10/10. :erm:

The demo is growing on me.

I have a small HDTV in my room, the game looked pretty amazing on that, however I just tried it on a larger HDTV, my god it looks amazing.

Honestly the game has depth. Every time I play it, I get better and better and I must have played it over 30 times......:happy:

I like the demo. I'm definitely be buying the full game. Hopefully, the online mode isn't region lock so that I can play with some of you.
