Kit makers...

This is just a thought. Wouldn't it make more sense to make all kits transparent since you can make the colours in the game yourself? or whatever colour you want? Like i said....just a thought.

the colours stop others trying to forge the kits as there own, we have had many in the past, im sure a few kitmakers on here know who im talking about *cough* youcef!

What the hell is the point in that?? I'm just happy you guys spend the time you do making kits for myself and others. Without you guys my game wouldn't be half as enjoyable. People want to steal stuff and get undeserved praise?? That's nuts!! Too bad you can't put like a watermark or something on the transparent ones...oh well...like i said...just a thought. Cheers man.

it would be easier, but some prefer the kits with color or background color request

Also when making a kit a coloured png also hides bits of the template that aren't supposed to be seen.

Yes im with you there..

Some people create 2 versions.. one with a colour and one transparent.

The good thing with having a colour is that it matches the real life colour pretty close..

Its only when i cant match the colour in PES and get as close as i can, then i opt for the transparent version.

I've just always found the transparent ones easier to use...don't have to fool around with the colours too much.

Non-Transparent are definitely a necessity for a high number of kits. Qpr's this season is a good example, try making that as accurate as possible w/o a coloured template and you'll see.

Hmmm....i guess. Another question...is kit editing for pc more advanced than editing on the consoles? I see some people showing off kits they made and the kits have the sponsors on the sleeves, shorts...fulham kit would be an example.

PC allows user to get into the PES bin files where the default kits are, you see how the PC kits are (full shorts and socks) its the same for ps3 e.g. manchester untied but without a jailbroken PS3 we cannot get into those files like pc, so on PC nw once the bin flies have been broken into and a kitserver is added then users are able to replace those pngs in the bin file with new edited one. edit mode is the same on PC and PS3, you are only allowd to put PNG's on the front of kit, but as PC have the advantage to break into the files they can put full png there (this cannot be edited in edit mode) the same goes with boots, stadiums and teams. hope you understand and i havnt waffled on.

Not at all! I understand what you're saying. I only play on ps3 and am always hoping the editing part of the game becomes more advanced. The editing part of pes i love....i love getting the templates from you lads and then building the game to the way i want it to look before i start to play. Instead of replacing templates every year, i think konami should just add to the ones already in-game. Thanks for the info ;)

well ur dreams r about 2 come true in a year... i mean OUR dreams lol, the whole edit community, as PES 2014 has promised a new engine which will include a totally revamped and more accurate edit mode, according to adam on WENB, emblems can be put on shorts and socks in PES 2014 thats all he could say 4 now, doesnt sound much but i believe this means edit mode has become more expansive and more much more to be done in PES 2014 edit mode.

Brilliant! Well i guess they needed to get the most important thing right first..the gameplay...i think they've done that well this year (pes13). Now i'm looking forward to the improvements with editing that you've mentioned..cool...thanks.
