hey i think its a good idea butit could go either way we want the most realistic game and sadly this is now what is happening to the beautiful game

I think it's a good idea, as it is more realistic. I'd only use it while playing against a friend though.

I dont think i'll ever use it, stupid addition to the game if you ask me, how will it work, will it be like, sometimes you get the free kick/penalty and sometimes you get booked

Unless, it was an option that could be turned off, maybe something you could unlock in the shop.

I could see it being fun for a few games as a novelty, but beyond that I don't think it warrants inclusion.

i will probarbly use it against mates as a laugh and when in poor shooting areas in the area,maybe even to timewaste at the end of an important masters league game,im happy for it to be there so long as its implemented right,how many times have you been slid on pes6 in the area and your guys stayed on his feet instead of going down and getting a pen then a golden chance is gone.fact is refs dont seem to give decisions to honest people i rarely very rarely see somebody fouled in the area and a penalty given unless there on the floor.

I hope you could turn it on or off , especially online. With all the cheating online already its silly to have such features that will allow people to cheat more. I'm sure the cheaters will figure out a way to always get the call and penalties for online play, its only a matter of time ! This is the only thing about the new game that is disapointing IMO, everything else looks good!

It could be great at times but then again it could be absolutely terrible. I remember playing some other footy game a while back, sadly the name has slipped my mind at this time but I remember it being highly entertaining every so often winning a pen by diving and seeing the priceless look on my mates face, :laugh:

However this option tends to slow down the play, cause a lot of cards, look unrealistic at times and be irritating.

If there is an option to turn it off that would be perfect but I'll not let it bother me too much either way.

was it This Is Football on the PS1? I remember that game had it, I got a penalty almost everytime, very unrealistic, seeing as though its going to be in the new PES lets hope they've done it well, or include an on/off feature for it.

Aye, thats the very one. Enjoyable for all of about two minutes then just became a nuisance as it looked terrible.

I don't like "cheat" moves, like the cut-back goals, but I think I might play with this early on. When there's a new addition to the game, I usually like to try it out, but if it gets too easy to do, then I'll leave it. I wonder if the computer will be diving too.

I can see it being really annoying when done to you, but I'd feel very cheeky if I used it.

I don't really like this feature, I hope it can be turned on/off or can be unlocked in the PES-Shop. I might use it early on but if makes the game too easy I'll get bored and I don't like cheating either.

Its cheating but i can see how tempting it might be to press the dive button particularly towards the end of a match.

Some matches can turn into a farce if everyone is diving and becomes the whole focus of the game. Im hoping Konami have thought this through and made this aspect of the game quite tight before implementing it ie chances of getting away with a blatent dive being quite low with a yellow given hence to stop people abusing it, chances of getting a penalty from diving in the last 10mins diminishes etc.

Does anyone remember Fifa 95 on the Mega Drive? You could dive on that and everyone thought it was fucking hilarious, you could also blatently just push someone over when 'defending' using the same button combination as the dive, B+C I think.

If left in perminantly this feature will undoubetedly add to the farce that is online play, as many of you have already pointed out some benders will learn to use it effectively enough to use as a regular game wining tactic (see cut back goals, ridiculous through ball goals, exit game strate-gay etc.)

I think shirt pulling is in this version as well, what do we think to this acceptable or not?

Anyone know if there's going to be a dive stat? I'd like to see the difference between a 99 dive and a 15 dive. Lol.
