I put the "E" in the title for you.

Looks very good from that trailer. Of course, you will need to play the demo before formulating a real first opinion.

I like it. The animations (though not perfect) are much improved, the pace of the game looks far more considered and overall it just looks much more alive.

Thanks dude :)

And yeah I agree, it looks nice but is it nice? We'll have to play it to find that out :D

That looks magnificent. I so hope the tricks are back on the right analogue as they're pretty ergonomically flawed on the d-pad and pressing LT/L2 and using the right stick is much more natural for the hand to use manual control.

Looks much smoother :) Skills look a tad weird tho...

Liking the Copa Libertadores stuff! Real faces for all the players is always nice to see.

I've said it over and over again. PES 2010 wasn't a bad a game. Although, the gameplay can still be improved, the game was better than the previous two versions by a mile.

PES 2011 will blow me away as far as I'm concerned. The trailer has convinced me already. I don't need any more convincing from the demos that'll be coming out later.

I agree with you completely pes 2010 was not a bad game at all I still get enjoyment out of it from time to time! with mates or on me own in the master league!! it does have its lacking qualities but its far from a disaster!!!

as for this video, its very very promising, it looks very full if that makes any sense like as if the players are actually on the pitch and their actions are more than just pressing buttons!!! but thats probs just me!!!

the only thing i would say is that while this trailer is to show off scoring and gameplay it does worry me however on the GK front!!!!

WOW! even though its not a big mac i am, loving it...........

that takes improved animations of the list and now i have to wait for info concerning the response time and better AI to make the game much more challenging and tactics to make the teams play as they do in real life.
what's gonna be the surprise i'm wondering cause i read somewhere they mentioned a surprise.

Great Video ...But

The video was great but as everyone states......i will wait for the demo.

The gameplay shown in the video wasn't convincing to me. I noticed that none of the defenders during game play made a tackle. They were all just ball watching. The passes ran by them easily and the so did the players. Also, the animations during game play looked horrible in my opinion. But the video was amazing.

Again....a bit too early to write them off....but apart from the graphics and amazing videos ...I am still not sold.

Well looks promising. Looks like weight has finally been added. I will wait for the demo to have a better judgement. But looks good so far. Much better than 10. But only from the look of things because you need to play the thing to be able to fully compare. So I'll wait for the demo.:)

I am happy with the fact that Ronaldo made it into the game, and with the Copa Libertadores, etc.

But to be honest, Leo Messi doing a roulette?? when was the last time (if any) that you saw that? after all the Motion Cap on Leo Messi, Leo Messi still doesn't dribbles like he does in real-life -- without roulette or step-overs, just simple and natural dribbling skills, lightning-quick short steps,

No, instead, he is doing roulettes, and flicking the ball into the air, showboating, whilst his feet move in slow-motion -- very unlike Messi,

In my opinion -- all the tricks shown in the video-clip are a bit too much for me,

CR9 -- showboating

Leo Messi -- showboating

Some Italian dude (Danielle De Rossi?) -- showboating

I did not see any detail in terms of player individuality, all the players (including Messi) did the same exact showboating-dribbling-tricks,

Why can't Konami implement non-showboating dribbling tricks into the game?

A good example would be Luis Figo and Zinedine Zidane -- both where very good dribblers of the ball, yet their dribbling tricks where beautiful to watch -- unlike -- the showboating going on with PES 2011,

It confirms one of my concerns with PES 2011 -- Seabass had mentioned something about making "dribbling tricks useful" -- when I saw the type of dribbling tricks implemented into the game, I felt a little disappointment, it is unrealistic -- they copied FIFA's unrealistic dribbling tricks,

The positives?

The game looks very impressive in terms of graphics and lighting, etc, etc.

Ronaldo is in the game, the Copa Libertadores is in the game,

The game appears to be completed, or very near completion; therefore, Konami has more than enough time to fix all the things that have nothing to do with the actual gameplay, like for instance, fixing the Edit Mode.

"fat" "tranny" naldo... LOL...

doesn't look anything like he does right now... he's a beast of a walrus... hasn't done anything at all this year

the game play look really spectacular... the passing.. meh... trick r ok... as long as its not like fifa where you can go the entire pitch doing the trick...

^^ you might be able to remove messi's skills in this game if it still uses the card system.

im not too concerned about that, im sure messi can perform all those tricks in real life, he just doesnt perform them.

RONALDO!!!

Well, my point is very simple -- Leo Messi does not dribbles like Leo Messi -- what else do you want me to say?

He never dribbles like that in a 90 minute game, so you will make him dribble like CR9 in a 10 minute game? that just doesn't makes any sense to me?

It's like, Leo Messi is the cover-boy and yet, the animations and dribbling tricks in the game -- it all seems to revolve around CR9, it looks like Konami had a couple of Mo Cap Sections with CR9,

It clearly shows the direction PES is taking, and I really don't like it, it's more simplistic in my opinion,

I am disappointed with that -- it shows that PES is copying FIFA, it shows a lack of originality from Konami,

The video-clip actually made me think of FIFA 2011 -- I hope EA Sports get the player individuality right, different type of tricks for different type of players, etc; if they get that right -- FIFA 2011 could be a great game.

As for PES 2011,

I really enjoy playing PES 2010 every now and then; I have no doubts that PES 2011 will be the best PES to date -- but -- I just don't like the new direction of the game,
