To me, you can clearly see 8 directional movement, players scrambling around, you another thing I noticed, I think... in PES the players dont move at varied speeds off the ball, its like they have 2 speeds, stop and sprint. (guess which game changed this for 2010).

50% build or not, and to be honest, I dont believe this 50% build bollocks coming from Konami, when they only thing they will add to the game is the kits and player animations, the rest seems done.

Not saying its not a step forwards, but it's not that great.

ahh thank you for proving my point wait and see FFS!!! wait till we at least get a REAL gameplay video to judge the game because looks like you were one of the people who playtested the game from the way you are judging the game. Not Everything has been shown like the champions league being implemented online Manager mode features , online that we are getting a guarntee will be great since it will be hosted by sony aka dedicated servers.
Improvments could be making the graphics better theres always room for polishing also stuff like edit mode etc. My point is your ignorant comments about the game cant be backed up by anything its not such a huge leap forward?? have you seen all the features NO!!! have you played the game?? NO!! have you seen a gameplay vid that shows you actual gameplay of a finished product?? PES on the next-gen consoles is like an ongoing cycle.

The new game gets hyped and then tested only for most testers to be "disappointed" with the amount of improvements made. Fans then say "I'm not having any of that. Wait for the FULL release". And when that comes the majority end up disappointed and nine months later cling to the same hopes as they've done previously.

I appreciate there's people on here who love the series, but you can't knock guys like Tech_Skill who are clearly fed up with it.

So people like myself (who are actually traumatized by how bad the last 2 games were) need to be re-convinced the game is back to it's best and so far there's nothing but a bunch of promises and crazy hype, again.

I actually enjoyed 2008, although it was far from the best Konami have produced. There were a few too many niggling problems, but not enough to detract from the good gameplay. PES 2009, on the other hand, is pretty poor.

I'd like to see some video footage and more news of other innovations, and I hope the reason they're holding off is not because they're not ready. I fear the next release will be rushed towards the end. I'd rather wait until Christmas, or whenever the game is complete to a high standard.

News is news and can be presented to look good, but if it's a disappoinment when you actually get the hard copy, then all the hype and excitement counts for nothing, except for an empty wallet. This applies to FIFA, too - gamplay and online aside, FIFA is actually a boring game.

The hype is not created by the masses. it's created by a certain idiot who runs a blog somewhere on the internet. What people don't realize is that everyone who get's a chance to play the game is kinda selling his soul. Cause for playing the game you can't be negative. Let me put it this way...you can't be honest. PESGAMING's review is the only one that has mixed feelings about the game, probably because he was honest. With other words this site doesn't hype the game. it's unbiased. This is a fact. Just watch the last two years how much carbage from others sites have been written and how much they hyped the game.

i liked 2008 too...i mean enjoyed it, wasn't really a football game but it was fun with friends

The reviews sound rubbish to me, the nly thing that I am holding onto is that the gametest they carried out was only 5% complete about am onth ago, and that they should have even more in the next test! Let's hope they integrate at least 16 degree movement!
