Yeh but to be honest it's impossible to play online with other teams as the lag and slowness of the online mode just stops you from being able to play football! I refuse to play Ranking until it gets sorted!!

I get really pissed off when someone tries using messi and runs around the whole team like they aint even there, honestly messi is overrated on that game, anyone who is on the pro evo cover turns out to be the best on the game.

Fiorientina for me guys, absolute quality strike force of Mutu & Gilardino and ye cannea beat the feeling of thrashing one of the barca boys playing the classic "give the ball to messi and run" tactic.

It's strange how you see so many people on here against the barca/man utd boys, yet almost every game I've played has been against one of them. Had a quality game last night when I was Scotland against Italy. Close game that finished 0-0 full of good football and chances.

Anyone that wants a good, even game between middle class teams feel free to add me, PES Id - thedons12345 :thumbsup:

Edit: Besides Football Manager, I mean actual football games like PES & FIFA.

Forzamilan, everyone to this points knows barcelona is a "cheating" team since when playing online, speed is overpowered and when you have etoo, messi and henry up front, its quite hard to defend against barsa. This is why I pick teams like Spain, Portugal, Holland, Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, check their strikers stats and all of them are around 80s speed, which means most defenders will catch up and you will definitely need some strategy to win games... Etoo's speed is like 90s with good body balance, that means he can just ran through defenders online. Now if they could fix the bad online defending, Barcelona will just be barcelona, a team that will depend on the person behind the screen to win games and not on Etoo.

So why is it, when I play against these teams, I rarely get hammered? You guys need to get better online... Or just get better at PES defending/tactics.

It's not that hard to stop these kids. And my style isn't passing it to Eto'o and sprinting. And again, like i've said in another post, my team of choice is Italy now (they are much more balanced).

Barca noobs suck there easily the best on the game why 80% of players pick them yawn. iv payed 150 matches and havent used them once. i usely go to the smaller teams in hope theyl pick 1 2. Some people do but most people refuse to play without there barcas, inter ect. LAME

Its for points online (if you play a proper game) and people just want points and dont care how they play, its always going to happen and nothing you can do about it

Easiest way is to play a none ranking game, then it doesnt matter if you win or lose it doesnt count for any points. Im going to continue doing this until the online is fixed and you can actually change the game level from beginner!

Online is a bit of fun, but yeah gets boring when people just run to score and think they are the best player in the world.

If anyone actually wants a normal game, I always pick a random team anyway as it doesnt bother me who I am online I know im good enough to give a) a good game b) beat you, an if I lose I lose not gonna get wound up or annoyed over someone sittin in their room cummin their pants because they managed to run past my weaker defence and pass the ball across the goal to score

scouse_god is my user name an play on PS3 if anyone wants to add me (although at the moment my online play doesnt seem to be working on pro evo)

I'll give you game sometime, I've started just playing friendlies due to the impossible job of defending online, I can just enjoy playing. You'll probably thrash me, I'm by no means a PES master, but as said before, I just play for fun. My PES Id is above.

The problem is finding people who don't chose Barca/Man Utd, you should be able to back out of games when you see you're opponent are going to chose Barca.

I try doing that by creating a Match room simply called:

SMALL/MEDIUM TEAMS ONLY PLS

However, the Barca-Kids will enter the room, wait and scroll through every team in every league then hit on Inter/Barca as the clock runs down to zero.

'Sensible Online Gamers' need more protection from the Barca-Berks, where players can only play each other with teams of the same level, Konami needs to make this an OPTION in the pre-game settings.

i.e. If I chose Newcastle the opponent could choose from other middleweight teams such as Spurs, Fiorentina, Atletico Madrid etc...

It makes the game Fairer and more Competitive for Both players.
