Online - What team do you use?

yh but if u were truly gd u wouldn't b bovad hu u play against although it does get borin n that. if ur so bovad about certain teams being too gd y not tryin being them. to be honest it does get abit annoyin but its easy points for me bcuz most ppl hu use them r shit with them lol.

Most don't want to play as Barcelona etc... because they want to play this beautiful game how the real beautiful game should be played, and that is building up passes and shooting, like 90% of all goals are, it's rare you see more than one 1v1 in a match. This is a football simulation and as we know anything can happen in football, Barcelona aren't unbeatable which is what most believe them to be when they play online.

So, YOU should try playing with lesser teams rather than us playing with Barcelona, mate.

if they pick barcelona ill usually go for liverpool, n if they pick brazil ill go for france(intersting how most goals i score are with benzema and not henry) but other than that ill pick any team

this is a true story, last night on 2 v 2 match against my friends i chose west ham and they ran out of time and got chelsea, we won that game 4 to 2 i think, but the dude playing with me was not safisfied with that. as he wanted to play with mighty barca, so when i chose croatia for another match he quit and left the game

I went Manchester City online against real madrid the kid i was playing has clicked on Espanyol so i thought i'd go Manchester City as a change but the momment i clicked Manchester City he quickly changed to Real Madrid then sent me a message saying haha unlucky sucker. But Jo on that game is amazing he doesnt have much pace but can hold up the ball easily and just pass it around and scores most of the time ended up winning 3-2

I think there should be a different points system. I detail below:

If you win as Barcelona you get fewer points (far less) than if you'd won with say, Rangers

If you lose with Barcelona against someone like Hull, then you lose a lot of points.

The more you are the same, or a really good team; you will progressively gain less points each time you win.

Yep i would definately say that is an option that should be considered, but these wee Barca fuckers will probably not be bothered by that & still go them.

I always choose random teams. However, if a teams choose Barca, Brazil, Argentina etc i'll just choose the same team and beat them at their own game.

I much prefer to play with lower teams though. You get a better game, more realistic score, more pressure and tenseness in the game and it's an all-round better experience.

Playing Galatasaray vs Fenerbahce, Rangers v Celtic, Ajax vs PSV or Blackburn vs Wigan give me much more pleasurable and competitive games than Barca vs Milan etc.

I usually choose Blackburn online (my team) and play:

GK: Robinson
LB: Warnock
CB: Nelsen
CB: Samba
RB: Simpson
CM: Grella
LM: Pedersen
RM: Emerton
SS: Villanueva
CF: Santa Cruz
CF: McCarthy

I have fun games. I might lose sometimes but still enjoy the game. When I lose against Barca point-grabbing fanboy's I see a darker side to PES.

I only just started playing online today. I was a bit scared because I've been reading for months how bad the online game-mode is. Laggy, always top teams, etc etc..
about the lag part: no problem here, in the good old belgium.

But about the team part. I did a ranking quick match. Got connected, choose Olympique Marseille, and suddenly found myself playing against Man u... I thought I was dead meat, untill I won with 2-0!
So I guess it's true.. People care more about the ranking than about playing good matches. But I don't get that.. What good is the ranking for? Epeeing?

anyway, next time I took Juve, and ended up against ManU again. after a thrilling match, I ended up loosing 0-1. No hard feelings, because the opponent was a good player, who didn't run too much and just played the ball around very well. A lucky shot of a good player decided the game, but I can live with that.

Bottom line is that I think that online PES is the same as every other game. U'll always encounter players that don't care about building up skill, but in the end, you will always find a player that is so skilled that you can learn something from it.

btw, it there a forum section for PC users, where we can share ingame usernames and where we can let others know what team we want to play?

I agree with what has been said. When I play Online and see that the opponent choose Barcelona, I can imagine that the ball will be 90 % passed to Etoo, and he will tries to beat my defence only with that player. I think to myself, if I play against this guy offline, in real life, he'll loose for a large amount. Simply lag destroys good changes of scoring, and chances of " pwning " your opponent. When I won 6-2 against a dude that picked Barcelona, I feel that he will reconsider next time he picks Barcelona

What is the actual point of ranking points anyway, u dont get anything for them so why bother getting wound up over losing online.

If its a friendly game it doesnt matter who goes who, i wont be playing ranking games until online is sorted properly (and you can change the level of the AI so it isnt just on beginner all the time!)

Random selection of a team is always the best, with random condition. Makes it alot better and more fun than just pickin the same team over an over again. Although most people are crap and only go barca, there are a few who will still play random teams

One quick Question, on online play, How can I import the tactics that are in the stock file? When I want to choose the option to import, that option is on grey(unavailable). There's any way of doing this? Because it's annoying every game I have to adjust tactics players etc.

I have just play like 5 games online I can say that Im a really good player I won two tournaments on my country but I still can play well online, the lag is terrible completely different from offline. I just hope to play without lag to show my real skills. XBOX 360: Zardo Runo

Trueeee, yesterday I beat one, I also told him, if he plays with other team, that hasn't etoo, he won't know what to do with the ball, if he don't have etoo to receive the ball
