[PC] PES 2009 SMoKE Patch 1.7

Hi,

i've installed patch 1.7 but real madrid's kit is screwed up... Any idea what's going on?

the 1.7.5 is the final and latest patch, i recommend installing it, however if you want to use the 1.7 u should install the 1.7 fix, link:

i dont know how to do anything i have download all the 11 parts but dont know how to do anything help pls

it is all explained in the install instructions in the readme file or the first post.

you put the EDIT file in your save folder, to replace the one there, in the Konami folder that is in you My Documents folder.

read the instructions. it tells you where to place everything.

minor issue i noticed. in the gallery - track record the classic team names are all wrong.

England flag says Albania
France flag says Georgia
and all the others...

is it a quick fix i can do or should i just deal with it as it is a page i will rarely look at?

and one other thing, what do i need to be able to register players with teams without the game crashing? example: Seattle Sounders crashes when i try to register a player to the team.

Queens Park is all grey for their Kit. i saw an answer earlier but can't find it now.

how can i replace it? sorry for the repeat question.

First of all, thank you dido for your outstanding patch and great support in this thread.

I know that 1.7.5 was the final version for pes09, and i don't expect any upgrades or fixes, just wanted to write down some errors i noticed:

Janko does not play for SC Internacional (plays for Red Bull Salzburg)

Wolverhampton has a few players with wrong Commentary Names (was kinda surprised when i heard the announcer shout Arshavin!)

FC Unirea Urzice -> should be Urziceni

Game crashes when i selected Edit Team > Register Player > Albania > + Add

I've yet to check out other teams players commentary names, and the register player/+add stuff; rather time consuming work indeed.

well, except the crashes everything else is easily fixed with the ingame edit function or pes editor

I will update this post when I discover more errors.

Last but not least I want to thank you again for your hard work that culminated in one of the finest PES patches I've played.

Makes me look forward to your work with pes2010 that much more.

Oh and one final thing, at the beginning of the thread someone asked if it was possible to change the PS2 controller graphics etc. back to the default xbox360 ones, still not possible or is there a way? no big deal if there's not.

actually i have used a new stadium, size is over 80mb, it is big with high quality, i do recommend you get the whole thing for stability and new stuff (will not harm the saves), also the 1.7.5 is the final patch for pes 2009.

Downloaded and played 1.7.5 finally..took me 12 hours to download..
It's just too good to not download..

i have the original first 6 patches, but i`m havin probs installing the rest of the parts. can anyone give me a break down of what to do please?
what i`m saying is that i have the 1.7 and it was working fine but when i downloaded the new parts, i tink i may have installed it incorrectly. cos i`ve lost the teams emblems,kits proper names etc... what do u do exactly after u download the rest of the parts please guys?

You have to open and unpack only from this file:

you have to download all parts to the same location, then unpack part one to any destination, all parts will be extracted to that location.

try modifying the settings, if there is no sound at all be sure to go in game sound settings and be sure the volume is up.

Thanks for the patch Smoke, great work as usual.

You should re-consider affiliating yourself with gamingaccess.com. The patch for PES2009, they made it and didn't tell anyone that it modified the game play. They report false news about upcoming games and many people have left that site because the person who runs it is about as mature as a fetus.

Do yourself a favor and keep calling your patch the Smoke patch, more people will download it because Smoke is a name we know and trust.... gamingaccess... not so much.

Rasmus Elm should be a starter and is not on the squad (atleast he was created on the last version, nice)... But however, it is nothing I can't fix myself ofcourse.

The PES Stats database is a good central place for getting current lineups and such.

You said that we don't need to copy the option file. Is it also true for those that install it from scratch, not over 1.7? If not, where can I find your latest Option?

pesstatsdatabase is a nice place, although we use our own rating system.

NOTE THIS ALL:

PES2009_OPTION01.bin is not important, i know it is not in the save folder cause, it is mentioned in the first post that to copy only PES2009_EDIT01.bin in the save folder but i forgot to change it in the readme file.

and you cant install OVER the 1.7, delete the old kitserver before copying the new one.
