Hello...i got pes 2009 today . i live in Athens Greece and it came out today...i will begin by saying this is the best pes game i have ever played even topping my personla favorite of pes3...The game is better than the demo in case people are wondering...ball physics seem to be better allot better actually with better movement and not sticking at all to the grass...the game is just full of little small superb animations that pop here and there and make you cry with the awesome level...Graphics are better as well...a tad better but it is noticable that some more detail has benn added and some textur work in the kits...the thing that will make tha difference though id when you play in morning or afternoon were tha lighting is just amazing and adds even more to the graphical expirience...i cant say just how redeemed personally in my eyes konami is with pes09 which is super amazing...especially when you play the champions league you get the chills its like sitting in front of telly lol....and did i say redeemed??? i metn almost...beacues to make a konami id to play online was a travesty...its the one part konami has screwd up in major fashion...i almost broke my controller at one point from their ludicrus demands to just play a god dam game online.....

Just do yourself a favor and don't use the English. After a handful of games it gets ridiculous, but it's PES we all knew what to expect. That's the good thing about the PC version aswell, give it a few weeks and you'll be able to pimp the heart out of the game so the cosmetic work is all minor, least we have a solid footy game again.
This will be my first go at the PC version of PES so sorry if this question sounds ignorant, but the pimping that your referring to, were you still talking about the commentators? It doesn't come out until mid-November in the states. You may want to make sure your ordering from a site that is shipping it on the UK release date. CDWow did the trick for me. I get to pay in USD but it's being shipped on the 17th. Free shipping to boot. :happy:All this is very good news. I personally have enjoyed the demo and with all this FULL version news I can't wait either. I ordered it from the US so i might get it a bit later. We'll see

Yeah you can get the Fifa commentary in mate. It might take a few months for it to get hacked but it's nothing that they haven't done before. All you need do then is patch it in over the PES sound file and it's job done.

Also, I have to say this forum is such a breath of fresh air. I've been on PESfan the past few months and it's nothing but people whining about tucked shirts. There are more FIFA fanboys on there than fans of Pes. It's great to find people with realistic expectations so amped for a game.
One last thing, thread creator said running animation has been tweaked a lot? Can anyone else with the final version vouch for that? That was the only thing (visually) keeping the game from being totally realistic looking.
Epic. Now that I've converted to the PC version I'm hoping a lot of this option file stuff will be simplified. Although the demo patch I downloaded (not the settings one, one with boots and such) is giving me fits. I'm getting giddy as a school girl over 09 now. Game looks amazing in HD, player likeness was stellar, and now the one thing holding it back from near perfect realism (visually speaking at least) has been sorted. Awesome stuff! Any videos up of the final product?
Even during the demo I felt like when I watched a replay I was watching an actual match. With FIFA I merely felt I was watching a video game simulation. Can't put my finger on why, player models and lighting seem to be the only things I could readily pick out.

I also got the full game yesterday, it is very very impressive to me, and as you said, I confirmed the AI (in the released version) is another thing!

Great review ceysin. Loved the demo and after reading this I think I'm gonna die from happiness when I get the game. November is too far. Sucks to be a footy lover in Canada

can we select kits before the games in leagues, champions league , master league etc......
unlike last year when we did not had that option..
i was playing against boro with Newcastle in pes 2008 it was really annoying to see boro wearing their home kit and me in my away kit wen playing at home...this happened a lot in pes 2008 which was very annoying
can we select kits ourselves this time around??

Nice one, very interesting read. I always knew that the full game would be much better than the demo, any one who dload demos would know. I love pes and hoped Konami would make it better and from what i'm hearing i think they done a good job, cant wait for release day i'll be booking the day off or a sickie, it's worth it lol.
kit selection is great this time.. GAme can apply the best choice possible... I never face up such a problem yet.. Even the colors are close, The HD quality and sharp grafix make it even more recognizable.. By the way refrees always wear different shirts from teams'
