I can´t wait to play the full game i preordered PES on amazon :), but the bad thing is the lag in online playing :(

I would take what people post in regards to online with a grain of salt bro. I've been seeing too many conflicting reviews of it to be sure either way. But tbh I'm thinking a lot of people complaining played a few games against a few opponents with shite connections, and just had a hissy when they posted.

Its nothing like PES 2008....

Champions league is nothing more than a licence to draw pretty stars and play a bit of Opera music.

I can confirm the opening posters statements with regards to the lovely 'sunset' graphics and also to the fact the floaty shooting has been somewhat remedied.

As for his other main assertion that players move more intelligently when receiving long passes....erm no......game is dumb as it always has been in this department

Good points, especially regarding the connections. Still, it's still frustrating knowing that one of the most played games has one of the worst online experiences.

I'm lucky to have a damn good connection, but even against others with high connection speed, the lag could still ruin the experience. There is more than just connection at fault.

I do have hope though.

Yeah, true. And the likely hood of only playing players with a good connection is slim to none. Still, I'm waiting to make judgement until I get my own copy. Online isn't the sort've thing you can gauge from a few reviews, seeing as ISP plays at least a part in the quality.

The online isn't supposed to work well until launch day, so all you guys b!tching about it will just have to wait a couple days for it to work properly

I really don't understand why a lot of reviewers out there (or who called themselves reviewers) or some review site ( I already hit two review sites ) that stated "Become A Legend" mode is a bad-move for PES and we cannot call out for a pass from team mates and just running around. Actually we can!

We can press R2 twice to ask for a pass from our team mates and we can see our cursors blinking.
Sigh if those "reviewers" can dig-up a little bit before "reviewing"

Just my two cents

I played 2 smooth online matches 2 days ago... I tried to make connections with 4 users, for 2 the connection is broken before the match begins.. for other 2 which I played ( 1 ffrom my country and 1 from Cyprus) the game was no different than the offline game..

I'll re-try tonight.. let u know tomorrow

Got the game today. So happy with it. I love it! The graphics are great especially the rain, best ever. Keepers aren't as clumsy. Only downside it players aren't at correct teams but this can easily be sorted out :)

Very good read. I must say u've done a good job, cause i've seen some very interesting points. I love pes and i knew the full game would be much better than the demo and u've cleared that up for me. I cant wait to get my hands on it which is gonna be Friday, i've already booked the day off and i'm sure it will be worth it. I must say i'm really pleased because as a die hard pes fan i was getting really worried with all this Fifa talk but when i saw both demos i knew PES was a winner. Luvin it Luvin it Luvin it

Just finished having a relatively quick game for the PC version. Never played a PC version before but i am fucking loving this. I had a few games and all the things i was dissapointed about in the demo have gone, for example, no more does the ball stick to the grass, the ball seems lighter than what it did in the demo, and most importantly the ball no longer sounds as though it is popped.

Edit mode is fantastic, PES really is back to it's best. I edited the Chelsea home kit and it looks like it is a licensed team.

Haven't been on ML or CL modes yet but as soon as i have i will say what they are like.
