(laughing) Seriously lad, I'm not like the others here, I'm not going to lose my temper if someone takes the piss out of me.

Oh yeah sorry I forgot you're the one who thinks he's special and sure on to become a mod here through brown nosing.

So what's your opinion on 2011? You think its ''dumb'' and ''outdated'' like your brother?

Welcome to PESgaming my friend! This is actually quite tame compared to other threads! I love a bit of banter and sarcasm but the great unwashed do tend to get a little bit 'lary'.

Unfortunately, you can't have a thread about PES2011 if it possibly questions it not being the best football game in existence. The fanboys just go mad.

Don't let it put you off PESgaming though, some of us do get on sometimes! :)

hehe I admire your persistence for an altercation ...

I actually like PES2011 in terms of Master League Online. I got rid of PES2011 to start with because I hated the AI issues on Top Player for ML offline but MLO is a different kettle of fish.

I'm glad I re-bought it because MLO makes PES2011 keeping just as the online mode of Killzone2 makes that worth keeping.

That's cool, I've not actually tried online ml yet as been busy with the usual mode.

This years is defintely better than 2010, like I said before its not perfect, as there are few things still annoying but no game breakers like last years where it became unplayable because of the predictability in regards to the repetition of play towards goal and ping pong passing that lead nowhere when against the AI. Plus it's a lot more challenging where the opposition make more intelligent attacks to try and break down your defense.

I can understand why some would like fifa instead, because its easier on the eye and makes for a quicker adaptation however it soon becomes very much predictable and boring with no flair in the game. You don;t even have to slide tackle on fifa, just hammer x. In summary the game is for superficial braindead cunts who know nothing about football.

I don't quite understand the slack pes2011 gets to be honest. Maybe because these new generation kids can't handle the fact they can't score 10 goals in one match and run through the whole team and then masturbate afterwards.

My main issue with ML offline is that the AI at Top Player has the advantage of manipulating the game that the player can't. Thats why MLO is so addictive, its a level playing field, if someone beats you for the most part its because they are good at the game and not because of some annoying glitch.

Human players look to play their own game and its more fun than playing the AI on Top Player ML. Winning on that now just feels like I'm grinding results out. Beating players on MLO is actually one hell of a rush than beating the CPU.

I can see both sides of the coin now, prior to playing MLO I could honestly say I was disillusioned with PES2011, I wasn't doing too badly I was proficient enough at the game I just hated the predictability of it. But playing MLO has made me realise how great the passing and dribbling is.

You can really play any style of football, I play the style used by Argentine club sides - quick, quick, slow - changing the tempo to wear the opposition down. The lofted through balls are a dream when playing MLO because so many players have their defence so high.

Get yourself on MLO, you won't look back when you have. Its just so bloody addictive, you'll lose even more hours of your life to it.

welcome... You mention you play on PS2? I think the PS2 and Ps3 games are completely different with PS2 being better

Hi I do prefer PS2 Pro evo, my son has Xbox360 and i always get him download demos of both Fifa and Pro Evo each year so i can try them. I always prefer Pro Evo although i must say last years Fifa was a big jump.

XBox 360 Graphics are fantastic, but the player animation always seems to me to be a bit robotic and have longer limbs.

I have started Master League and are looking forward to getting to grips with the new manager elements as regards contracts etc.

You know I've gone back to PES 6 on the PS2 after playing PES 2011, and I kinda prefer PES 2011 even though it has some serious bugs and issues. With PES 2010, whenever I went back to PES 6 it was like a breath of fresh air, it was so much better than PES 2010, but this year like I said, I kinda prefer 2011, I'm not completely sure yet, but right now I'm leaning towards PES 2011.

LLLOOOLLLL, yet another thread analyzing the $hit out of the game...sorry, I thought I this thread was about something different as this is my first visit to this thread...I do get a kick out of sminky boy purchasing this game TWICE however. Congrats Sminky for actually playing the game some and finding some aspect playable for you-didn't think you did that the last time in your previous rants. I'm very impressed maxxpower actually went back to his beloved PES6 like I suggested in another thread that was very similar to this thread hahahaha

Weird, I'm in a promotion spot only after 5 games!

Haha I just started up my mlo tonight and showed a few kids who's boss with my low down default master league bum players while their teams where filled with star players. Had to do a bit of mourinho style suck it up and hit em on the break tactics, nonetheless the victories are still just as satisfying

Yeah, I was a little impulsive but now I've played MLO there's no going back to ML offline. I could still rant about some of the glitches but to be honest they don't really ruin the MLO experience.

I've been grinding out low scoring wins, I drew 2-2 with a Div 4 player who had almost a complete team of decent players - he was fuming when I equalised in the 85th minute.

I've noticed lot of the MLO players are using these really weird 4-3-3 formations where they leave the middle of the pitch almost empty. Get yourself a decent playmaker, he makes all the difference against the Wing Ho's. I bought Jarolim, he's cheap at about 1.2m and has passing of 85, he's been opening defences like tins of beans!

EDIT: He doesn't have passing of 85! Its his dribbling! I'm talking rubbish again! :)

something clicked this weekend after playing a friend of mine from Argentina, we had some great games, very aggressive and fast paced. Looks like I figured out how to shoot with the new stupid camera angle as well, Im not averaging alost 3 goals a game with only about 0.5 goals against online, Im in Div1 and have won 12 straight games with I think about 6 straight shut outs. LOL I don't know is this is a good thing, I like winning but now the game is starting to feel too easy. PPL need to learn how to play online and stop trying to run with Ronaldo all game long....

PS.... I think the choppy, mechanical, slow passing, reacting game play feel happens online when there bad connection. Instead of creating button lag the game slows down and makes it annoying to play, but this weekend with a new router that I hooked up the game felt very quick and fun, not choppy at all hense my experience I wrote about able.

You are a fucking asshole, you talk about life in a PES forum, and you talk about life all the fucking time: prove your worth in the real world... anyone can say anything from a computer.

In addition, you spend most of your time in PESGaming, responding to people who do not like PES11: what the fuck are you trying to prove?

Other than coming off as a massive asshole, I don't see anything worth the mention, you always say the same bullshit; and no, I do not agree with your opinion, nor do I respect it....

But still, I don't see why I should attack you, or anyone, for liking PES11 or thinking that PES11 is a "realistic" video game: that would be stupid, a complete waste of my time, and your time.

And, above all things, you keep talking and responding to me, when it is blatantly obvious that you do not actually understand my argument.

I saw that, once again, you felt compelled to respond to one of my comments; that said, I did not bothered reading the response.... I already know what you will say, you always say the same thing, so I'm not wasting my time reading through your bullshit.

You talk about drama queens, when in fact, you are the biggest drama queen in PESGaming.

Whenever I see your name, you are attacking someone, and worst of it all, your argument is always redundant and subjective. I can only say: why do you waste your time? Why do you feel compelled to waste your time doing such a childish thing....

Well, it's none of my business I guess. Then again, have I ever attacked you or anyone for liking PES11?

Do I go to the "I love PES11 thread" to make an ass of myself by saying how stupid it is to have an opinion? I just don't see why you continue wasting your time doing something so utterly pointless.

Oh here we go, playing the victim card and deflecting attention away from another one of your moronic posts bashing everything while filled with contradiction and repetitive ramblings. A typical tactic of yours when you write nonsense and someone calls you up on it. Why not answer my questions and arguments that I put forth instead of crying like a bitch and exposing yourself as even more of a hypocrite? I tell u why because you know I'll rip any of your foolish see through paper thin arguments apart.

You're like a robot, post the same crap every single year about how dumb and outdated the pes is yet every time you buy it then come on here and whine all year about all it's flaws. About the controls, how it's not a 20 min sim and how far behind the game is compared to all the genuis games you've created. Oh wait your never created a game have you? You just like to pretend you know what it takes to make a great game while you sit in your basement ranting and writing essays that impress a few others that like long text because they automatically precieve that it must mean something.

With all the crap essays you write on here, you could write a book about everything that's wrong with videogames, and then people might buy it but will ask what have you done to try and change the industry. Then you can answer and say, you still buy and play the games every year because that's what you do instead of putting your money where your mouth is and walking away and set yourself up to go into computer developing instead.

Seriously its like ground hog day seeing your posts repeating the same crap as you did the previous year. How long have you been doing this for? And what do you expect to come out of it, a cult?

I see your essays in the majority of threads, on the homepage comments section talking about the same crap.

in concluding...

PES2010 = more traditional pes experience, good game, but not one of the best pes games

PES2011 = the game gets away from its roots in some ways, but still feels like PES, a good game as well, not one of the best pes games but could be a good building block for future PES games if Konami plays its cards right.

Finally, both games are good, playable and fun, some people may not like one or either of them, I myself find them both enjoyable in different ways, you can't play them the same way. Remember that everything we say here is an opinion and nothing should be take to the heart. If you enjoy the game, don't let others deter your enjoyment, if you don't like it thx for sharing your views and concerns, when done constructively like Amateur has done it could be used by maybe the game developers to get ideas on how to go forth. NO NEED TO ATTACK him or eachother for their views. If you enjoy the game go play it and have fun, if not, well you have 3 choices, wait for PS2012 and hope for the best, go get FIFA, or go back to older PES games that you liked.

CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERS!

I think the "new generation" of PES has improved with each release. 2008 was terrible... 2009 was semi-terrible... 2010 was ok and 2011 is actually a good game.

I've been playing this series since the day one, and I never thought I'd see better football game than PES5 again, but this is the first time in what... 5-6 years when I'm not sure if I ever go back to that old game classic again.

PES2011 gets better every day... the more I play, the more I appreciate this game.

The passing engine felt really weird at first but it's great after you get used to it. Finally we have goalies who don't act like they've been sniffing glue for the last 20 years. Finally we have a good, fair and challenging shooting engine. I even like the penalties (although it took a lot of practice to understand how they work). For me the most difficult thing to figure out was the goalie in the PK... (but it's easy... you gotta keep your button/stick pushed to the direction where you want to dive).

I was excepting this game to be a disappointment... I was really cynical... I was ready to trash it just like all PES games after PES5 (PES6 was still good)... but this is a tremendous improvement. Huge.

There are lots of things that you can still complain about... like the too fast-paced PK... lack of replays in PK... too few fouls whistled.... referee strictness can't be adjusted, etc... but for the first time since PES6 the "spirit" is back. That's something you can't even measure with common sense... it's simply there... and I'm addicted.

PS: I have found out that the game improves even more when you reduce the agility, shot accuracy and speed globally by 20-30 units. Defending gets a bit easier and most important, the arcadeish gamespeed comes down to more realistic level.

Dude you do realise you can alter the global gamespeed by up to + or - 2 in settings menu dont you?
