I have received a lot of questions regarding the AI with the last patch, so just to clarify, keep in mind this points:
1) There are 2 AIs: opponent AI and teammates AI, both have been tuned in the patch. But mostly teammates AI, since it was the most affected by scripting.
2) Now tactics have WAY more importance than before, so the gameplay will be much more affected by it. This is because before the gameplay was assisted by scripting (ie balancing player stats to compensate for ingame deficiencies) and now is not.
3) Fatigue is also critical now, since before it didn't affect the opponents AI before the match, now teams carry fatigue as the player team does. Also fatigue will directly affect on global AI gameplay (as in RL) not only on form stats, since a tired player should not be mentally as sharp as a fresh one.
There is an issue that when using the patch on an already started ML some of the fatigue parameters might get messed up (since they have been accumulating but not begin used) and cause opponents too tired or too strong, but this will get normal after some matches 1/4th season or so?
But as i mentioned before, the patch is meant to be used on a freshly started game, since many of the parameters will change drastically with an ongoing ML,BAL,etc..
and no, I'll not be touching the cursor change problem since that is being fixed by KONAMI in the next update (and I honestly think i couldn't do anything about it either )
