Are you guys sure the PESEDIT patch does something to the exe? I've been using the PESEDIT patch, but when I used this anti-scripting patch I pulled the original exe from my PES2010 DVD.

I haven't noticed anything strange so I'm a bit confused now.

I'm using PESEDIT patch too, and i think it only uses kitserver?
I have both this a pesedit patches running nicely together, so no complaints here..so far :D

I like how he has created different versions of the file, and think he should keep doing it like so, as everyone has different styles.

One will find it great, the other will find it rubbish, as we have observed already. (Although based on replies, majority like it)

I think Konami should hire him...

Technically, I think he could be arrested, as I imagine he would have had to decompile the exe, which is illegal.

Although I hardly think he is making Konami lose out on alot of revenue, unless he goes and creates his own soccer sim :p

Out of interest does the guy who makes this know of any way of affecting a similar change for the PS3 version? Or is it simply impossible?

Seeing that this no-script patch seems to directly modify "PES2011.exe" from the PC version, it'll be tough getting it ported to the consoles because of strict mod restrictions (I believe the modded .exe will have to be digitally signed and approved by Sony to get to work on an un-jailbroken PS3).

Modifications/option files between consoles are non-interchangable.

For the PS3, there is a guy called chimps with quiffs, who has made a PS3 exclusive gameplay option file. I was sobbing when I found out that I couldn't get it for PC, but then my new hero, Komu, came along and got his work on the PC PES :D:D.

This has been on my mind since the very first patch. What he's doing is well... yeah, let's keep it on the down low. Don't want him getting in trouble.

To people discussing about PESedit and etc. exes. They don't change game (only use kitserver), so feel eased to patch over them with this patch. (I have backupped the original exe though just for referance).

I use pesgalaxy.tk patch, and this patch over it's exe, no problemos. Can't wait to try this new version as people praise it so much! :D

Even if pesedit DID change anything, I would still patch this because it's just THAT good. especially 1.06a.

everyone needs to get it i don't care who you are, and someone should tweet murphy about it. maybe he can ask konami why they disabled everything good and enabled everything bad...........

1.06b

nobody is using the 1.06b ?

After a few matches i notices the AI is tougher, and it seems interesting though ... On my first match with 1.06b i found it not as fun as 1.06a, but the rest of the matches were quite good.
I played a total of 5 matches i won 2 and lost 2, the AI seem to attack like maniacs when given the smallest opportunity like in 1.06a but my players are not as "sharp" as with 1.06a.

So I don't know what to make of 1.06b, I really like 1.06a but 1.06b brings a different "flavor" to the game...

My bottom line till now is:

1.06a: fun ,dynamic and realistic.

1.06b: Harder difficulty with 75% of the 1.06a characteristics.

I really hope KONAMI will learn from this and introduce this patches in the upcoming update, or at least i hope komu will continue to develop this patch when the next KONAMI update is out.

playing online with the patch

I wonder if you still can play online with this patch? I can't try it by myself because I never been able to play online because of ... umm... some reason.

I can't imagine playing against unpacthed player online. One side has dumbed down team mate AI (by konami), while the other side has AI which are reverse-engineered-for-freedom by our mighty Komu. Will it make any difference?

I'm interested in your opinion of the 1.06 patch. Also, let us know if you're using 1.06a or b.

I'll give it a try and let you know.

Went back to default for a while, but the player form issues and the ridiculous balance of defenders are killing me. (Both fixed in these patches).

Well, just tried 1.06a and, after just 2 games, I must say I'm in awe!

The arrow form is fixed as in previous versions.
The cursor fix issues seems non existant (which is quite curious as it must be a side effect, since he said he wouldn't try to fix it).
Shots are now what they are supposed to be.
Player balance is completely fixed now.
Players now accelerate. You can feel them gaining speed, instead of the default game ultra slow acceleration.
AI seems balanced (in contrast to 1.05).

Note: The game pace seems a tad faster (probalby a side effect to players now having acceleration), is there a workaround for this (that doesn't involve removing the player acceleration) ?

As a sum up I can say I scored a goal with Santa Cruz, in which I shielded the ball and delievered a low but powerful shot past the keeper. Which would be impossible in the default game.

Right now I feel sorry for those of you that don't play on the PC.

Fantastic job on setting things right!

maybe 1.06b is worth a try then..seems a bit slower than 1.06a...

I like 1.06a, It is a little quicker I agree, but my play style can slow it down if I so wish. When playing against a team that is inferior to mine, it's nice to be able to dictate the tempo of the game, all good teams do that.

The patch just works it's simple as that really. :D

I tried 1.06a for 3 games. All as Tottenham against Celtic, Olympique and Dynamo Kiev.

1-3 Olympique
3-1 Dynamo
4-1 Celtic (1 penalty)

Man the ai closes you down ultra fast and attacks with purpose. They even take shots when there is a shot on, rather than fluffing around with it for ages trying to play like Arsenal. I found there to be very little space at any given time- even passing it back to the CBs is difficult!

The goalies still parry too much. I got 3 goals from goalie rebounds. I hope this guy can amend the code so the goalkeeper parries shots into touch rather than back towards you!!

Not perfect, but otherwise, this is truly excellent and I am actually looking forward to playing this game... something which hasn't happened since PES5. Plus, I'm sure there will be future patches to iron out the creases.
