PES6 for the 360

To surmise the point based on everything that's been said so far, it looks like this:

If you want the best online gaming for Pro Ev, the 360 version is the way to go.

If you aren't an online fiend and prefer to be an editing fiend, the PS2 version is best for you.

Personally, I have never even spent a second playing games online as it doesn't interest me in the slightest (I play games to avoid contact with other people) so I'm all for the PS2 version.

i'll be getting it on 360 still. Because it will be class on live.

I can guarantee you that there will be some huge problem with logging on due to so many ppl playing or just huge lag boys! there always is when you got new games like that going on new consoles! Trust wait for the PS3 because there will be....

a) More Licences

b) More Improvements On Gameplay (ie any bugs that appeared on 360 konami would have fixed)

c) Twice as good graphics

d) The Playstation controller! ( YOU ALL KNOW THIS IS THE BETTER CONTROLLER TO PLAY PRO ON)

e) I believe that the XBOX360 graphics (and its been said by others) look too 'plasticy' and too shiny whilst it looks a decent game i really dont believe the gulf between the 360 and PS2 versions is worth all the difference in money it would cost to get the 360 and then the game as opposed to just buying the ps2 game. Would rather wait 7 months... save up more money, get the better console which will have better graphics and better games and have all the above and spend around the same amount if not a little more.

But I thought PES6 is NOT being released on PS3.

Yeah it will be but not till this time next year but what your forgetting mate is that the PS3 will be region free... meaning that we can order over the new winning eleven 11 which will be next gen so we can play that. But i heard it aint gonna be called winning eleven 11.. more like Winning Eleven International Football 2007.

I doubt the graphics will be twice as good mate, any mistakes or faults on the 360 version will be corrected for PES7 and i imagine you'll hardly tell the difference between the 360 & PS3 versions next year.

Yeah, I think PS3, 360 and PC versions will be the same next year with very slight differences.

Really? :( I thought that was just a false rumour. I was thinking to get PES6 for my Xbox, then wait for PS3 to get PES7. But the PS3 will probably be over £300 when PES7 comes out, if some of the reports are true about PS3 release dates.

Apparently there's only 8 stadiums in the 360 version (though it's yet to be 100% confirmed) and in the edit mode you can only do very basic things. It doesn't look like you can edit team names and kits.

Its a shame as i was very eager for PES6 on the 360, but i think i'll stick with the PS2 version as you get a full edit mode, loads of stadiums (this is important to me as i like realism) and hopefully a load of empty slots to edit the Bundesliga into (these are not on the 360 version). Oh yes and its cheaper. So more for less.:)

Jesus Christ, the news on the 360 version just keeps getting worse and worse. It sounds like it's going to be a major disappointment for us 360 owners, you'd think with a more powerful machine you'd be able to fit more things on the disc. I think i'll try out both versions in the shop before i buy my copy.

For gods sake why are there so many Playstation fan boys on this site. How the hell do you know that the PS3 graphics will look twice as good, when you haven't actually seen the PS3 in action. Anyway, Konami are building the game on PC and porting it across, so graphics will almost be identical. If you say the graphics will be twice as good, back it up with hard evidence, because as of this moment i haven't seen any in game PS3 graphics. If they are twice as good in game, i'll admit the PS3 is better graphically. But there is no doubt that the PS3 controller is better for PES. But before i admit that the PS3 is better than the 360, i will have to see it in action.

I suppose it depends on what you want from PES6. If you want a great online experience and some slightly crisper, smoother graphics then go for the 360. If you like a good editor and all the things that have been left out of the 360 game then get it for the PS2.

I don't get people who say that the PS2 controller is the best for PES, how is it? I've always been a big fan of the PS1 & PS2 and no doubt the controller feels great. But looking at the 360 & PS2 controllers side by side, the positioning of the buttons is almost identical, apart from the left analog & d-pad being in a opposite positions. Is it just the feel of the controllers or what? I honestly don't get what the big deal is.

ill be getting it on 360

why is every1 saying there will be less stuff on the 360 version i cant see it happening it got bigger discs bigger storages compasity and it will run way better on 360

as for editing it will no time at all till someone makes a prog to edit the 360 option file to the same standard as you could for ps2 and x box versions

personally i think the 360 pad is almost the same as a ps2 pad its laid out the same and just use the d pad and its all good

Apparently even the ps2 version has a simplified edit mode where u can only edit basic things too, also this will be the last pes as they're handin everythin over to EA and seabass is said to be dating paris hilton. See, anyone can start rumours but don't believe a single one until they are confirmed by seein them with own eyes.
