PES6 PS2 PSM3 review

After looking at all the screenshots of the boots/kits/balls I was rather looking forward to this game, having read that review I now feel less excited and more what have they done now to my fave game. Surely the way forward is adding teams and league not getting rid.

Ah well, it's a shame that ze Germans aren't there bar Bayern although it might just give the editing scene a new impuls with all Bundesliga lovers wanting to play with their favourites

Indeed - option files will solve this issue though.. I can't be bothered about the Bundesliga not being in there or the Premier League not being completely licensed.. Even the licensed teams / leagues will require tweaking anyways

Thanks for the review. Still looking forward to the thing, but why oh why did they remove Bundesliga? If there is one thing I've missed more than any other thing in the PES-series, it's more leagues. Too bad.

Sad about the Bundesliga. The only hope is that they didn't review the final version (the boxart in the review doesn't have Terry on it), although i understand this is unlikely.

In the last version,may be konami add the bundesliga under another title, also a title differs from German league. The important thing is that they put any teams in a fake league and then we'll edit it all like what we usually do, may be..........

Great Review, except there must have been 2 or 3 people on 1 review, either that or the 1 guy that reviewed it is pretty dumb!

How can you say the game is better than pro evo 5, (which got ranked 93) then rank pro evo 6 91!!!

Its obvious, they are damn chelsea supporters, i'm glad chelsea aren't in the game, they can buy the premiership but they can buy a licensed kit in pro evo 6

every league works differently, this year konami were told to remove it.

Ah well, quite silly if you ask me.....why wouldn't a league like the Bundesliga want to be part of the best Footie game on the market? Even if it does mean fake team names, you can still change them through the edit mode.

I agree. My money is on the fact that financial requests were made. It is such a bold move to just dump the bundesliga barring 1 team. I figure they held Konami to ransom and Konami were like, "ah we don't need ya anyway..." I am surprised they did not put teams like Schalke, Leverkusen, Borussia or even Werder in the other leagues section though... :shocking:

Geez pes is not only like football on the pitch...it matches it in preseason speculation too. All shall be revealed come the 22,23,24,25,26,27.... even the release date is speculation. Gotta love it.

I wonder how many Germans will buy the game now? Germany has a population of 82 million, so there's alot of sales to be lost. I still can't see why Konami couldn't have put in an unofficial German league that we could edit ourselves.

Would any English people on here not buy PES6 if the Premiership was not included?
