I've never messed with any of the settings regarding blu-ray watching....and still the quality is miles better than normal DVD's and HD DVD's

I know I too am confused but apparently watching Blu Ray films on it causes the laser to burn out or something.

Same here. I was just wondering if changing the settings made any difference at all to picture quality, sound etc

Anyone else got Skate 2 yet? Im loving it so far, although the graphics could be better.

Theres no point in staying away from blu-rays, after all it is a BR player, and all games are on BR discs, so if the lens is going to fuck up then theres nothing you can do.

What 'settings' do you mean Andy?

Didnt think much to Skate 2 demo really.

Didn't think much of Skate 2. Not really my sort of game but I gave it a try and after amusing myself by repeatedly ending up flat on my back, I just felt the movement and camera controls were a bit off.

How to connect the PS3 to the internet using wired connection? I've tried this setup but it doesn't work



Which, I connected an ethernet cable from the modem to the router. Then, I used another cable from one of the empty ports of the router, to the PS3.

When I did a connection test, it always fail to connect to the PSN.

I had no problems when connecting the cable from the modem to the PS3.

Yeah, both levels are pretty hard. Controls are not that good really, and the 'stand still' aiming gets a little annoying. Graphics are amazing though.

The stand still aiming is very annoying..i only played the demo for a few mintues and it seemed pretty much the same as RE4 to me.

The last Resi game I played was the first one....So no doubt I'll think very highly of this game...I'll have to download the demo

I saw on the new PS3 fanboy website that the demo is something like 945mb where as the 360 version was only 435mb, anyone know the reason for this?

Guys need help in choosing a good HDMI cable for a cheap price.

When I bought my TV, the guy offer me one for £50 saying its the best around however the official Sony cable is only £6 on play?
