Strangely enough, I'm not that impressed by the demo. Yeah, it looks good, Okay, it plays well. But it's nothing new. At all. In any way.
Sufice to say, I think its a pre-owned purchase some months down the line...
I actually turned it off after about 10 minutes. I might give it another go eventually, but I wasn't impressed.
I still think Crackdown set the bar for this type of game. You actually felt like a super human, unlike inFAMOUS where all you really have is lightning bolts to shoot, which I imagine will get fairly repetitive. The lack of a co-op mode is rather lame too.

Spider-Man 2 was the first king of superhero games.
inFamous is very good, but the enemies are buggers. Particularly the white robed ones. It's annoying how many there always seems to be (like on the rooftops in Assassin's Creed), but at least you can clear a territory of them via missions.

I've seen the number referring to a blu-ray player problem, but I don't recall any letter at the end...:unsure:
When do you get the message? Is it just games of will it still play cd / dvd?
Have you tried 'factory reset'?

Ive tried most of the solutions available to me, or basically from what the system allows me. Just to be sure, what exactly is a factory reset? Is it pressing down the restart button on the console till it turns off?
The problem started on Friday, I was playing PES and scored a goal but then it just went to a blank screen with music, I thought it was just loading so I left it. 5 Mins later, I knew it wasnt so I tried taking the disc out and for a split second the game was back but the disk had already come out. From that point I feared the worst.
As a matter of fact, that error only starts to come up when I play NBA 2k9. It must be because it triggers the system to play up. My brothers were playing Singstar and LBP uninterrupted beforehand.
From there, any game that I insert comes with that error and I dont want to admit that it may be a blu-ray player as you suggested :no:

Aye.
Have you recently downloaded anything from PSN, or updated Firmware? It's not likely to be related but there is rumour of some corruption for HDD files for the blu-ray player.
Either way, from what I've heard it's a Sony only job. Sorry bud.

Whether a new HDD would cure it I don't know... I'm sure though that a re-format makes no difference to the error... can only suggest checking the PS forums...

Has your warranty ran out? When my one broke they didn't ask me for the receipt. You could pay for Continuous play now & then after a few weeks say it broke. :ninja:

Ahhhhhh man! I've already given my details to them!
I have two current options because they just called me saying my warranty has run out:
Get it repaired at a local, my cousin got his done there for £70 and it hasn't been faulty since, he dropped his from 2 feet though :/ I feel it is risky because I may want to go for this option...
Go for the safe option and pay £145 to Sony for an exchange.
