I've recently bought a new 320GB PS3 Slim to replace my old 60GB PS3. I'd like to keep my old username so is there anything I need to transfer over from the old one to the new one? I'm not bothered about the save game data or the stuff I've got from the PS Store.

You can transfer data between PS3's. I did that with mine but be warned it can take hours. I left mine copying while I watched TV.

Indeed. I hooked up my old YLOD 60GB (had been temporarily fixed) to the TV as well as my new model and transferred the data. There's also the option to backup everything on to an external HD then load it onto the 320GB but I'm not sure that includes the 'locked' save files which are copy protected. First option's better imo.

Bought Resistance 3 today. Put it in.... 670MB patch :facepalm:. It's taking forever... even longer than usual. Worrying thing is, that's patch number 1 out of 2 :unsure:

I don't know yet, haven't set it up yet as my internet has been playing up. I will hopefully be setting it up tonight though so will let you know. Is there any particular reason why you've asked the question? Thanks for the help Mick, Sminky and Haribo.

Mine does and yes it is an indicator that the tray is 'occupied'

No, that's the one thing I miss about the XBOX360.

I heard the reason you PS3 guys can't play music whilst playing games is because Microsoft patented the idea or whatnot.
