I'd say so. I was forced to buy one after my brother went off to college and took his. I made it my priority to buy the second generation model as opposed to the newest super slim one though. I didnt like the design and look to it.

Nowadays so many of the good titles cost next to nothing you could pick up the Uncharted collection, Infamous, God of War, etc etc.

dammit it all, can't I just go in the PS store without there having to be a software download needed every time. Its a catalog, not a game, quick changing it Sony. So annoying

Don't know if anyone can help me with this, my PSN downloads seem to be going very slow at times on my main account. When I was downloading ACIII, at the beginning it would slow to a crawl (< 100k/sec). I'd have to pause it for a while, start it up again, then it'd speed right up (> 1mb/sec), then carry on like that. If I had to turn my PS3 off and on again, it'd go really slow again. Sometimes I'd have to keep pausing it and unpausing it every 10mins until the speed picked up.

Ok, so today I try to download the Fifa demo. On my main account I start downloading - terribly slow. I try again on another account, and now suddenly it's going really fast. So it's obviously not my internet.... what the hell is going on? :huh:

de active media server option if you have it on. I had the same thing happen and when the demo actually downloaded the install stopped at 99%.

It's already disabled.

EDIT: Turns out my brother's PSN download is behaving the same way. Weird because it downloaded a 32mb PSN store update in seconds, yet actual PSN game download is going at less than 100k/sec. Any explanations anyone? :erm:

I had issues with my BT connection doing this before I got my Fibre Optic upgrade. Im sure they screw up dl speeds depending on what ports are being used etc if that is even possible.

It's weird indeed. Left the Fifa demo downloading on my brother's PS3 for around 2hrs - 450mb downloaded! Cancelled the download, went to download it again - it was downloaded and installed in 15mins!

If you liked Heavy Rain, no reason why you shouldn't like the demo, although the control scheme is slightly different.

Yeah. There's 2 sequences in the demo. One of them is quite action-packed.

Ok, I don't know if I'm being a bit thick... I bought a mic from GAME. GAME's own brand. I plug it into one of the front USB slots on my PS3 and I don't hear anything..... am I missing something?
