I read that newer models do not have the LED indicators. So, I'm looking at which CECH number to avoid. So far, I know the CECH-3000 don't have any LED indicators at all.

I got mine in Tesco for €45 and as far as I'm aware, the pound is still worth more than the euro....

So, I went to a shop earlier, asking if it's possible for them to import a US version of the slim, and the response was; "if you get the US version, you'll only be able to play the US version of PS3 games, which is a hassle for yourself as you have to order US version of PS3 games every time. "

He mentioned about one region uses PAL, the other uses NTSC.

All PS3 games are region free though. Plus, from my understanding, the usage of HDTV and HDMI will eliminate the PAL/NTSC problem.
