Played an hour or so. Graphics are decent and the story seems to be heading in a good direction.

Seen some annoying things occur already, managed to sneak past a few guards and wondered why the ai wasn't following but carried on regardless, only for me to get to the door you have to reach and they teleported behind me lol. Not game breaking but I was a little disappointed.

So what you guys reckon?
I'm not usually one who gets into these type of horror kind of games but this has been exceptional up to now.
I'm currently at the part where
you are in a little forrest just after the part where you help the girl over the water
(not really a spoiler if you are not beyond that point) finally got the hang of how to deal with the infected dudes now and not dying so consistently now:laugh:
Very forgiving this game when you die not taking you back too much. I like the saving in this game being more like on the PC where wherever you save you start again from that point.
Up to now I'd give it 9/10 as I've experienced a few minor glitches and also at some points when you're stealthing around and the enemy clearly walks past your mates it's a bit "meh". Probably for the best because it would fuck you off after a while if they kept giving your place away, but still..
They really have gone all out on the graphics, looks gorgeous and being a PC gamer usually takes a lot to impress me. Bloody dark this game though. Decided to not turn up the brightness too much because it looks amazing. Watched a little bit of a walk through before and the game looked like shit because the brightness was so high and you can see everything clearly. Grey blacks:erm:.

Major fail on this game before. There was an action sequence cutscenes and the little girl went invisible. The gameplay carried on from the cutscenes because I was being ambushed and you could just see her backpack floating about:cringe: because she was invisible. She reappeared after I died and started again.
Other than that it has been immense. Keep thinking of stopping playing and end up putting another hour in because it is so epic.
Came across this cunt before ........
Shat myself because I only had a tiny bit of health.

I got done by the auto-save bug so after playing for a good couple of hours I now find myself right back at the start.

Haven't had the time or the inclination to start all over again yet.

What a fuck up by Naughty Dog. Does nothing get tested anymore?

I think I'd give up if that happened to me.
Luckily I heard about this before I started the game so make sure I manually save when I'm turning it off.

There was an update on release day, which caused all the problems but you didn't need to download a patch to fix it as the problems were server side.

I would say I'm nearly 50% of the way through.. I love fighting against the human AI. Great fun.

I must admit there's been a few times where I've said 'Fuck this' and turned the game off but I think it's because I'm not into stealthy games or playing stealthily, however when I come back to it I seem to get past the bit I was stuck on.

Try not to be to specific. I've just got to the part where you get
smoke grenades
i presume you are past that having had the game longer.
The runners are a piece of piss on this game and you can just batter them with your fists. I'm still a bit confused with the runners, sometimes they seem blind and other times they spot you and charge. I know the game said they don't pay attention to the flash light but can anyone clear it up? The clickers can fuck you up easily but at least I know where I stand with them bastards and what it takes to stealth kill them.
