I was actually going to mention that, is this basically Uncharted as a Zombie iteration? I have a feeling its going to be quite linear and with combat may become tedious quickly ... unless they have a interesting slant, a sand box approach would help.

I think it will be a 3rd person game, with emphasis on survival. There's the bit in the trailer where they seem delighted to find some ammo - so I imagine it's pretty scarce.

I'm not really a fan of post-apocalypse/zombie games, but since it's developed by Naughty Dog, I'll give this one a go.

I'm very interested in this game. I'm sure the voice acting and motion capturing will be top notch if the Uncharted series is anything to go by although I reckon there will be less humour.

BTW, trying a game because you know a good developer is developing it is STUPID. Everyone should check out a good game, NO MATTER WHAT DEVELOPER is developing it.

About Last of us. It is seriously interesting. I hope they expand the survival part and make it more intense and less arcade zombie game like some other zombie games are. I want a serious game that makes you worry and gets you into the game. This looks very interesting indeed. Looking forward nonetheless.

I don't think it is stupid. If a developer has a good track record then it is obviously going to get attention from those that enjoy their games. Who says we don't check out games from other developers? I can't speak for everyone that has posted in this thread but I play games if I like what I read, see etc prior to release. Right now I'm playing Darksiders and the developer has no previous track record but I still bought the game.

I was only making a point and I wasn't pointing fingers at anyone here. Yes a good developer may indeed develop good games because logic states it, BUT MANY SEEM TO OVERLOOK GAMES THAT WEREN'T DEVELOPED BY FAMOUS DEVELOPERS. That was my point. For example very few people know of Dark Souls compared to Skyrim. And in my view, Dark souls was more well made, but it didn't take home any award. Why? Because of the developers aren't as famous. THAT SUCKS.

Dark souls deserved an award.

But anyway, this is not the appropriate thread so I'll stop now ;)
