Sometimes my mates and I haul out the Amiga to see who's still the best at Sensible. It's timeless gameplay wise. A true chess / football game.

i think japan will be getin it around this time next year, or maybe this christmas, europe propably late 2006/early 2007. Europe get everythin last so until japan or the USA get ps3 we wont really be able to estimate a date......unless sony europe release one

yea, SONY have confirmed that they will reveal the PS3 at this years E3 next month.

P.S.-just scored a 40 yard belter with Morientes on pes4

I've heard PS3 will be released maybe by Xmas in Japan, and then a few months later (early 2006) in Europe. Konami have said that PES5 will be the last in series on PS2, so from this we know that PS3 will be in Europe by October 2006 at the latest. Apparently it will be reverse compatible, but i doubt i will be playing ps1 and 2 games once its out.

when ps2 came out it was 300 and the games were 40 and coz this is bigger and better and people who arent me are gettin richer i think itll start out at 400 or maybe even 500 and the games probably will be 40 agen

i might have to wait a few extra months before i can get a ps3

i didnt get my first ps1 till 2001 christmas time and ps2 till end of 2003 (coz i destroyed my ps1) so im a bit pissed now unless i get a good job.

it will definately cost more than 200 though.

Well, it basically means that I'm gonna have to rush out and buy a DVD-Rewriter for my PS2 games and DVDs. And as soon as the PS3 is released, I have to go out and buy a BlueRay Re-writer.

These electronics companies are taking the piss. They keep on changing the disc technology. Why can't they just stick to one disc format for 10 years?

To avoid tramps like yourself not buying their games.

um ok just one question. If everyone knows that the PS3 is coming. Its going to cost a ridicolous amount when it comes out. Now for those of us that have jobs. Just take a dollar or two every week and put it away. Then when its time for the PS3 to come out you might only have to come up with half of it by then.

Any way. From what I hear about the PS3 over here is this


1: NO GOD DAMN HARD DRIVE (Sony's first mistake)
2: Blue Ray disc's will be Mandatory (Yea I know its covered here already)
3: Wireless controllers will be Standard for all PS3's. however for it be backwards compatiable They have put in two controller ports for Dual Shock 2 controllers.
4: The PS3 will now be using Memory Sticks. The Duo and Pro Duo types just like the PSP.
5:Acording to what I have read from IGN and other articles, all the game developers are saying that the power of the PS3 blows the Xbox 2 out of the water.
6: The pics of the Unreal 3 Engine in this post are the real things. I was reading the PSM (playstation Magazine) here in the states and they have the same ones.
7: The PS3 will be online ready the day it comes out of the box.
8: Useless information but there is suppose to be a strip that goes across the front of the system that changes color every month like the backgrounds of the psp's that came out.
9:The system interface will be just like the one for the psp.
10: the overall size of the system is a little bigger then the xbox. (unconfirmed)

Well god thats alot I guess. But i still want more and can't wait for this damn thing to come out. But heres my wish list for the PES games coming out on PS3. You give me the graphics of the opening scene for PES4 as gameplay graphics and I will officially convert my religion to be Konamiism. Konami is my god.

I hope they do not go above £40, as £60 is just too steep, considering the PS3 is something that every kid will want. I'm sure X-Box and Nintendo will sell games cheaper than this.

pes will have more teams than fifa have now and the gameplay will be so real noone will ever leave to play football.

i remembered how good fifa 98 and 99 were and how shit it is now

FIFA will be the same, just looking better.

I can see GT5 and MGS being release (or near release) titles. GTA will be beyond comprehension. Hopefully PES5, or maybe 6 will be a release title also.
