Is anybody hear near the top of the rankings while playing with Arsenal? If so could you tell me what formation and tactics you use? I usually can defend and beat the generic Barca/ Brazil attack, but struggle to score against mediocre players who play a 4-4-2 and know how to defend a little. Usually in these games I try to dribble to much with Henry due to a lack of finishing ability for people like Fabregas, Hleb, and Adebayor. So can somebody who wins most of their games with Arsenal tell me your strategy and how to spread the attack?

I always win games 1-0 and 2-0. It is always the bes option to play defensive football and catch people on the counter attack. I really don't know and tricks or secrets, it is just a matter of understanding football enough and seeing your players movements well enough to pick apart the sorry defense people play. It shouldn't be hard at all to score against attack minded teams. The problem is that the game favors their playing style, so defensive teams will usually lose.

Well yer he is too good I agree. Try man marking him using 2 players and dont use press tackle with smaller players coz he jus shrugs it off. Only top players can press him off the ball.

I've been losing a lot lately after having a good run. I play too defensively using Liverpool and Valencia mainly. Playing Barca and Inter is soo boring tho.

Whats Liverpool's best Line-up on it? I use 4-4-2

I play as Newcastle 95% of the time and sometimes England for a change. I will never play as a noob team.

BTW, Maybe England is a Noob team but at least it is a team that I support.

As we all know, The vast majority of players use Barcelona and Inter & other Noobishly-Elite teams of which they do not support.

If they play what I call an honest game, I can generally beat or draw with them as Newcastle or otherwise have an enjoyable game of football losing.

If they play "cut back football", I am liable to get whipped, so...

If you do not mind a couple of yellow cards, I encouarage you to hack down Ronaldinho. Hack down Adriano, they gain injuries really, really easily. Especially Ronaldinho.
People may call me a cheat, so what? At least it stops Inter/Barca noobs dead in their tracks from their Cutback Capers.
BTW, I only hack if they are cut back players.

A noob without a Ronaldinho is like a car without an engine. They really do not know what to do without him.

You guys know who you are: When Ronaldinho picks up the ball, You start by having him running around like a blue-arsed fly, up and down the wings, cuts back, runs a little more, try to pull off a nice little trick... It is laughable. Why not PASS the ball? Who knows you may even score.

Too many of you worship these Elite players and it makes me laugh out loud.

Some of you 'cleverly' have your username, named after these players as some sort of sign of worship, whats that all about?

no im not a troll, completly the opposite actually, i happen to be 6ft5. at the end of the day, if someone can repeatedly attack you in the same way and its troubling you, you are shit, im sorry, its true its true.

as for your over exageration i know u was exagerating which is why i said "17 meters" there is a trick to getting your keeper to dive when you want him to. i have never conceeded from outside the box. (not saying i havent conceeded, becuase i have, and iv lost)

I even picked brasil once just, 2 annoy the other guy cause he picked Brasil, bye the way I lost 5 - 2, the point Is support your team, mix it up, and stop doing the same lame runs,and generic goal's. Please give Adriano some rest, your going to injur him (LOL).. Don't ruin are beautifull GAME...

It's best to play Player Matches, if you go ranked chances are you'll run into the usual suspects such as Brazil, Inter and Barca.

There are exceptions though, I played someone who took Togo and I took South Africa. Pleasant surprise, good game although I lost.

i agree, thats y i play with only a few people cause they are willing to play a tottenham v everton game or villa v west ham

Stop moaning, learn how to defend, if your playing against strong attackers put your strongest defenders on them, double up your defending and defend deeper cutting out any space and play on the counter, think of it as a challenge when your playing with a shit team, i rarely conceed 1 goal per match against any opposition even if im playing with a shit team

To be honest, I generally just laugh when I see my opponents opt for the likes of Inter, Barcelona etc. (On the 360). I now always randomize my choice of team though, which makes the game so much more fun as you're constantly playing with different teams. I usually play Player Matches, but recently I've started with Ranked Matches again, just to cheese off the Adriano-bummers by beating their precious Inter with teams such as FC Groningen, FC Sochaux and Pampas. Last match, I was losing 2-0 but clawed back and went in front 3-2 before the tail quit the match. Best thing was, I did exactly the same comeback the previous game.

People who play formations with 4+ players up front also deserve to be stabbed. 4-3-3 is pretty acceptable, but I'd say 3 is the maximum amount of strikers respectfully.

If anyone wants to join a genuine Xbox 360 League, with no "gay-goals" allowed and sporting play. Then please log onto PELLUK, just type it into Google. Division 3 is going to be set up for the new season, with more players required.
