I'm not believing the hype...

I for one am not going to buy it.

I'm far too sick of pes2009 that it's so obvious from the last couple of years nothing is going to change.

Even if the impossible happens and they do change something it will come at a price with something being taken out of the previous games. They do it constantly. Wtf was the lack of editing in pes2007? We are all just going to be let down and I can't even be arsed with pretending to myself that it will be good.

There are so many problems that Im not even going to list whats wrong but my personal main problem is online fags. People who just constantly go Barcelona. I don't care if they play amazing with 100 passes before a goal, they are still the most overrated team in pes history. They are incapable of manning up and having the balls to go a different team. It's just so pathetic.

There is nothing worse than hanging on at 1-1 until the 90th min when messi rises above every1 and heads home the winner. Even when u tackle messi or eto'o, they still come away with the ball because your guy is still on the grass picking his arse.

I dont enjoy single player or become a legend so at the end of the day what is the point in playing when your constantly up against these faggots? My verdict is there isn't a decent football game out there and I don't think there ever will be one.

Well, for one, they are saying that there will be a new game engine and improved A.I.

And for the people that constantly choose Barcelona - let 'em play. If you play with Wigan and gets a 1-2 score agains't a 11 year old playing with Cheatelona then consider yourself the much better player.

Do you not find it mind numbingly boring to play barcafags and man u every single game? Same moves, same frustration, same cheated outcome 8/10 times?

Skill/technique/understanding of the game all mean nothin when the opponent just gives it to eto'o who outmuscles your whole team and scores.

New game engine and AI? Don't make me laugh. My defenders will still get sent off and conceed penalties without me controlling them. Evereything has always been said and everytime we have been let down.

When are you going to stop wasting your money and stop kidding yourselves?

Seems like you have all been brainwashed for yet another year. And finally before anyone starts Im not a FIFA guy at all, haven't played it since 98 and don't intend to in the near future.

Well, I know pes 09 can be frustrating but you are truly underrating the game. But anyway, if you won't buy fifa and pro, then no football game for you because there's not much of a choice to choose from.

Yeah you might want to tell everyone how much you wont buy it and the reasons behind it, but if you really hated the game as much as you claim then surely you would just not use it again.

Do you do this with everything in your life, if you have a bad pizza that you dont enjoy do you boycott pizzas for the rest of your life? if you see a film and an actor isnt that good do you boycott his/her films for the rest of your life?

If every game was amazing and perfect what would there be need for an improvement, mistakes in games are needed so there is always something to improve on!

If they get to a point in a game where they think its as far as they can go they need to change and update things, sometimes these changes and updates dont work as well as they thought and they update them again in the next game.

And you go on about these online "Faggots" this isnt konami's fault, they cant ban people from using Barcelona and their style of play, they have to have an open choice for everyone. Yes they could fix the ranking points or even get rid of the points system all together. People will always want to win any way possible just to say that they have so many points, even if they are shit at the game and win by playing boring, no points would would make a majority of people play for the fun of it again an not worry about how many PES points they have!

I don't think anyone is going to ignore the release of pes 2010 on this site, the hype that will be there in the weeks before the release will be difficult to ignore especially if you plan to be on this site,

I will definitely not ignore pes 2010, even it is not much better than previous pro evos.

The initial statement release by konami commenting on how many changes they are making is enough to get any football fan excited. I am more confident than ever that this will pes will be a return to pes's of old.

I will keep an eye on it, but for the 1st time in over 10 years, FIFA will get priority this year, it will more than likely come out before PES anyways and judging on the improvements the EA developers claim they are going to make this year, im not convinced PES can overhaul the game enough to beat it.

Well I for one will not be buying Fifa and sticking with PES. I agree with many others that no matter how many changes Fifa has made for the better I just can't enjoy it the same as PES, it seems to lack soul. Me and my mate can play it for half an hour then get bored but with PES we can play all day, always picking teams we think would have good matches, Arsenal vs West Ham, Wigan vs West Brom etc all of the average teams in the game, you have much better matches that way.

Personally I play with alot of teams like Liverpool , Arsenal , Spain , Brazil... But mostly I do play with FC Barcelona , but thats not because of Messi or Eto or anyone , its just my team and im supporting it since ever , there are alot of people that support their club and its perfectly normal that they mostly use that club to play with but I agree there are some people that just pick the best club because its the best club.

personally i cant wait for the new version of pes ,after seeing the supposed game engine there going to use ,will make the game look as good as it plays ,new animations ,new master league ,new europa league and finally the ability to play it online

^I also like Barca. I don't support them though since I support Juve, but I really like Messi and the way they play. I know in pes 09 they are sort of unbeatable but MAN UTD are just the same thing. Personaly I feel that Man utd are the most overrated team not Barca in the game, because even when AI controlled, they're harder to beat than Barca.
