What a stupid topic and Barca is not over rated I'm not gonna even get into that just ask Bayern who got owned hard by them. Honestly though how can anyone hate on something thats not even out yet! In other news I hate PES 2017 becasue everyone picks Sparta Rotterdam

Bayern did lose 1-4 agains't Woflsburg just before the game agains't Barca.

Had it been right after the games agains't Sporting (12-1 aggregate score), Barca would've been afraid. Very afraid.

Yea... and they won another team 4:0 just after that game, Bayern didn't play that bad against wolfsburg , against Barca they were completely outplayed and could have been at least 8:0 if they continued to pressure as they did in the first half.

If your not going to buy the game then why are you using the pes gaming site??

Yeah you might want to tell everyone how much you wont buy it and the reasons behind it, but if you really hated the game as much as you claim then surely you would just not use it again.

Do you do this with everything in your life, if you have a bad pizza that you dont enjoy do you boycott pizzas for the rest of your life? if you see a film and an actor isnt that good do you boycott his/her films for the rest of your life?

If every game was amazing and perfect what would there be need for an improvement, mistakes in games are needed so there is always something to improve on!

If they get to a point in a game where they think its as far as they can go they need to change and update things, sometimes these changes and updates dont work as well as they thought and they update them again in the next game.

And you go on about these online "Faggots" this isnt konami's fault, they cant ban people from using Barcelona and their style of play, they have to have an open choice for everyone. Yes they could fix the ranking points or even get rid of the points system all together. People will always want to win any way possible just to say that they have so many points, even if they are shit at the game and win by playing boring, no points would would make a majority of people play for the fun of it again an not worry about how many PES points they have!

Im on here because I'm a pes fan obviously. For the third time I'm just showing my frustration at the piece of shit that they supplied us with this year and also last year.

As for your pizza theory, if you get a bad pizza twice in a row from the same place would you go back a third time?

And with the barcafags they CAN prevent this. Why not put something in that limits the amount of times you can go a team within a 24-hour period? It would make the game so much more enjoyable, make people play with more skill to get points if playing with smaller teams and further peoples knowledge of football in general because at the end of the day it seems most people who go Man U or Barca only go them because its the only team they've heard of.
Are you all trying to say that you enjoy playing Eto'o or Rooney every single match?

At the end of the day the day I don't respect anyone who in their past 20 games have only gone Man U, Barca or Brazil. My respect only goes to people who have to show true skill and grind out wins against Barca etc with lower teams. These are the people who man up and deserve every win they get. There's not enough of us out there.

[QOUTE=StringerBell;1460610]What a stupid topic and Barca is not over rated I'm not gonna even get into that just ask Bayern who got owned hard by them.[/QUOTE]

Victor Valdes is one of the best keepers in the game. I'm not gonna even get into that.

So according to you because Barca beat a HALF STRENGTH Bayern team, that justifies their immortal status in the game? As i write this it's 1-1 with Bayern having some players back that they didn't have available last week. It's not 4-0 so I think you have to judge this game more than last weeks.

The game was released in October, how could Konami predict Barca would be so good this season? Also Zenit beat a FULL STRENGTH Bayern team 4-0 last season in UEFA cup yet they aren't immortalised in the game. Then going on to beat a FULL STRENGTH Man U team in the Super Cup. Why did Konami not predict that Zenit would take the Champions League by storm? It makes no sense.

just noticed that you're a rangers fan... that also support Chelsea... thats more pathetic than this thread.

I was born in Glasgow, my uncle lives in London and used to take me and my cousin to games when I was younger and down visiting. How's that pathetic?

Celtic and Ireland? You got the same old sob story about potatoes?

I like how you added "i hope" also at what point has anyone mentioned FIFA? Iv not mentioned that I will be getting it at all. FIFA is worse than pro, why would I lower myself to it?

i knw u didnt mention Fifa, id just thought id point out that the only alternative to Pro would be Fifa and having played that myself i feel that is shockingly bad.

By the way Cg1206 if ur not getting Pro and dont like Fifa at all will u not be playin any football game that are brought out later this year?

I have preordered every pro the day it's been available since I bought my ps2 and even tricked places into giving me copies a couple of days before release.

Two years ago I told my local inshops video game shop a week before release date that the local Gamestation had released it and got my friend 2 pretend on the phone to be the manager from Gamestation when I phoned for proof. I can safely say my dedication to getting this game first and the excitement surrounding the release date won't be matched this year by a long way.

So tbh I don't see it happening unless I get solid proof that Pro has improved.

Yeh they say the same thing everytime, but I think I'll wait like 2 months at least and read reviews (NOT PREVIEWS) and this site as well before buying it (IF I EVEN DO).

^I also like Barca. I don't support them though since I support Juve, but I really like Messi and the way they play. I know in pes 09 they are sort of unbeatable but MAN UTD are just the same thing. Personaly I feel that Man utd are the most overrated team not Barca in the game, because even when AI controlled, they're harder to beat than Barca.

well they are champions of europe so i would assume thats why they are hard to beat!!!

I aint signing here, cos I most certainly will be giving it a chance. As a PC only gamer, if I want to play video footie then PES 2009 is quite simply the only choice I have.......If EA released a proper FIFA 10 for PC (not the SNESesque trash they are currently feeding PC gamers), then there would be a highly likely chance of Konami losing yet another ardent fan of the series.

Such fantastic statements that Konami are making regarding the installment are all well and good, but we have all heard it all before. In other-words, I will believe when I see it.

on the otherhand, if Konami want to rescue the series they will have to put in a tremendous effort as FIFA is now so far ahead in so many aspects, in terms of quality of end product, the two games are not even in the same league.

The only things that can be said in Pro Evo's favour is that the player models are much nicer (nice touch but not hugely important) and the ball physics are more dynamic which is very important and from a certain point of view, makes PES 'more fun' than its technically superior counterpart, but this is the sole area of superiority that PES has over FIFA.......but ultimately this feature is like PES scoring a very well taken consolation goal in a 10-1 thrashing at the hands of FIFA.

You're forgetting the "anything can happen" feel of PES6 and PES5.

In my opinion both PES09 and FIFA09 are missing that.

I like the fact that Konami said something about:

“Major gameplay additions will make PES 2010 the most realistic football simulation available”

“PES 2010 focuses on being a real football simulation, as it requires both strategic play and quick reactions, as in real life”

“thus returning PES 2010 to its simulation roots”

I know talk is cheap, and I'll believe it when I see it.. But Konami definitely did NOT say anything like that prior to PES09.

If you mean the AI can bend the game at any moment effect of those two games (especially PES 6...terrible game IMO, only worsened by PES 4 and of course the godawful PES 2008)

I think it is best that Konami keep Scripting out the equation as much as they can....

Agreed!

Agreed!

I can see why you hate PES6.. But in my opinion fact remains that PES6 had a "anything can happen" feel to the game that kept you on the edge of your seat.

On the other hand with PES09 there's just no thrill in the game, too much time and space on the pitch, you have so much advantage as an attacker and so much time to think -that- the game becomes very predictable and repetitive, in my opinion PES09 plays more like FIFA.

The movements and passing are robotic and very arcade-like, there's too much time and space on the pitch, and as a result the final third of the pitch feels never ending. In my opinion it plays similar to the Old Versions of FIFA.

The way I see it, both PES6 and PES09 are easy games once you play them correctly. But the problem for me is that even though I find them both easy: I enjoy playing PES6. Whereas on the other hand, I cannot get past 4 games of PES09.

I would take PES6 over PES09 any day, because it is more thrilling and realistic.

Forget about the always "cheating AI".. PES6 plays like Real Football.. sure it can improve in every aspect, but as a "Football Simulation" it is far more accurate than the Arcade-Mess PES09.

I'm not going to say it is Fact or Reality.. but it's the opinion of many PES Fans, myself included -and- it is reflected in the Sales.

I for one am not going to buy it.

I'm far too sick of pes2009 that it's so obvious from the last couple of years nothing is going to change.

Even if the impossible happens and they do change something it will come at a price with something being taken out of the previous games. They do it constantly. Wtf was the lack of editing in pes2007? We are all just going to be let down and I can't even be arsed with pretending to myself that it will be good.

There are so many problems that Im not even going to list whats wrong but my personal main problem is online fags. People who just constantly go Barcelona. I don't care if they play amazing with 100 passes before a goal, they are still the most overrated team in pes history. They are incapable of manning up and having the balls to go a different team. It's just so pathetic.

There is nothing worse than hanging on at 1-1 until the 90th min when messi rises above every1 and heads home the winner. Even when u tackle messi or eto'o, they still come away with the ball because your guy is still on the grass picking his arse.

I dont enjoy single player or become a legend so at the end of the day what is the point in playing when your constantly up against these faggots? My verdict is there isn't a decent football game out there and I don't think there ever will be one.

I have preordered every pro the day it's been available since I bought my ps2 and even tricked places into giving me copies a couple of days before release.

Is that the best you can come up with? My views from my first post haven't changed in the slightest. Fair enough if I had said I was now going to pre-order it as soon as it becomes available but I didn't.

And no doubt you're one of these gimps that leaves comments like that but never return to back up your view.

To sum up and make things clear, I don't see me buying the game. I have no hope of it being an improvement and my opinion is that it's just going to be another epic disappointment. It's been going downhill for the past 2 seasons and I can't see it changing.

At the end of the day if PES 2010 does prove me completely wrong and gets rave reviews and a lot of improvements have been taken care of then I will man-up, admit I was wrong and give it the credit it deserves. Until then, like everyone else going on about how good it's going to be, I am entitled to my opinion.
