Only Konami could screw up media attention like this, with unconfirmed reports, rumours, incorrect news and leaving the fans wondering what the fuck is actually in the game.

No 360 degree movement in the Xbox 360? Has to be bollocks, the Xbox 360 controller is made for using the analog stick, it's beyond ideal for full movement.

Thats why im calling for people to hold fire.

And when i say hold fire...........you know there is an issue.

Im not even convinced its going to be on ps3, i wanna see it for myself or get CLEAR CUT details on the exact dimensions of movement

Its insane

Ive heard the following in the last 24 hours

- its still 8 directions
-its 16 directions
-its 360
-its 360 only on ps3

Just horrendous.

I want to clear this subject about whats official or not official.

PESFAN.com is an official endorsed Konami website.

If they say there is an hardware problem with the Xbox 360 its true.

Unofficial websites are: Evoweb, Pesgaming, WEBLOG etc...

It has already been confirmed by PESFAN (The Boss) the manager/owner of PESFAN.com that PES 2010 will play familiar like always, that people shouldn't worry because it plays like it use to. Its been said there are more movement directions on PS3 but its not full 360. Its more 32 or 16 way movement also covered by new animations covering up its digital form.

Its heading towards/leaning towards 360.

People that believe Fifa 2010 is 100% 360 should get there facts straight..

Fifa also is calling there 360 movement 360 but it really isn't.

Buy fifa and you will see its all a marketing stunt...

Remember Fifa 2009 not working features?

Now apprently there is, but only on ps3.

Fuck that.

I wanna hear Konami say it, or someone tells me the EXACT dimesions of movement.

We made it 360 movement.

What Konami knows and gonna tell you its that its not exactly 360 movement but heading towards that direction.

I can confirm now.. that nor FIFA 2010 nor PES 2010 has 360 movement.

They will both have more directions calling it 360 movement. Its no biggie..

Its all marketing. They proberly have max 32 directions and they both will market it as 360 movement. Its the oldest trick in the book.

But look, "I regret to inform I'm not able to comment on the game's new 360 degree movement control, as this is a feature that has apparently been left out of the Xbox version's current build due to technical limitations of the hardware"

Do they mean the build pesfan have played and not the final build?

Agreed to an extent.

I still want confirmation from Konami on what the deal is

16 way?

360?

they need to come out a clarify EXACTLY what movement is available

Just like FIFA releasing FULL details on exactly what degrees are availble when jogging, sprinting etc.

If you ask me, Konami are having problems with the XBOX controllers. Thats hardware not software.

So it must be those crappy Xbox controller that has crappy analogue and d-pad.

Im getting :realmad::realmad:

I want some more screenshots and maybe even a gameplay video. And if its not so hard to ask some god damn good/ new news.

I am disapointed, no 360 movement (so far) for Xbox 360, but for PS3. How could this be true, for one console and not the other! I am now starting to get a bad feeling about this, I think it will be like 2009, which feels unfinished because it feels like Konami are trying to rush the things in, which has been there downfall.

The game has been handled badly, first there is news then there is no news, first there is no 360 then there is 360. What is going on Konami.

They need to sort it out and fast, the game is out soon for god sake.

They cant get the new movements on the XBOX controller. The Ps3 Dual shock D-Pad and Analogue must be superior in some form we dont know..

Its now clear to me why Xbox released a special PES controller last year.. Konami saw this problem comming years ago..

You're right Tech-Skill, They are strange, and look:

"The control system 360 will be available for versions of PLAYSTATION ® 3, Xbox 360 and PC-DVD through the analog stick controls. The system will allow users to move the ball with ease, opening a whole range of possibilities in creating attacking moves and defensive work. The PLAYSTATION ® 3 users will enjoy this control system with the cross of command, while versions for Xbox 360 and PC, using the cross will be limited to the control system of eight directions."

It's translated.

Fifa 09 is 360 movement... when you're player doesn't have the ball, which is meaningless. When a player does have the ball, it's just like PES, but the animations hide it well.

Makes me glad i got a PS3 when i had the choice though.

Alolo91^^So let me get this straight, 360 is in Xbox 360 if you use the analog stick, if that is true thats fine because I use it anyway.

So it must be those crappy Xbox controller that has crappy analogue and d-pad.

The Xbox 360 controllers are excellent to be fair, feeling very natural when held in the hand. It felt weird at first when coming from the PS2, but after trying a PS3 controller again, the difference is noticeable. Plus, the analog stick on the Xbox 360 is in the perfect position to be used (where the d-pad is on the PS3) so for Konami not to implement the new movement system on the Xbox is purely rumours I think. I can't see them having a completely different game engine for differing consoles, it would make very little sense, and especially when PES6 was ridiculously successful online on the Xbox 360, and Konami have stated they want to re-enact that, stripping the gameplay wouldn't be the way to go about doing that.

The reason why the previous green Xbox 360 controller for PES was released, was purely with an upgraded d-pad since the Xbox 360 d-pad is poor. Obviously many people still use the d-pad for PES (I've no idea why though to be honest). As well as releasing a new controller being a money making scheme - the same happened with Resident Evil (the red Xbox 360 controller).

We'll just have to await confirmation.
