Thats weird! I dont have to resize them when using em in PES2009 on my PS3. I dont see why it would be different for anyone else to use them. I just copy them straight from PC to USB stick, then to my PS3's HD. Everything is fine when i select them through the PES2009 edit mode. The size i used was actually as high as i could go without the game saying it exceeds the limitations.

. If you wanna use it just click on the tab above it to get the full size and thenright slick on the PNG itself and save it. Copy it to your HD on your console and then apply it through PES2009's edit mode. It does look pretty slick in-game.
@ 01srainey: My bad then lol. Originally i saw the checkers on the historical kits site but just couldnt see them on the actual kit last week so i thought id mention it.

:shocking:Freaky! Is that on PS3 then?
Ive checked my PNG's on my PS3's HD and they're still the size ive previewed here, no unknown resizing has happened, so i honestly cant get my head around why i can import those PNG's but you and others cant. It doesnt make any sense:no::unsure:

Do you change the kiy colour once you put those .png images on?
Like on Chelsea home, it is not blue on the .png image, so do I change the colour on the kit in the game an then add the .png image to make it look like the real Chelsea kit if you know what I mean?

@ The Liverpool Way: Yeah, you got it mate. These PNG's are made with transparent backgrounds which means only the actual features of the kit are in the picture, therefore you add the image and then just make up the colour of the shirt yourself and add any extra features needed such as the Adidas stripes down the arms on the Chelsea home kit.
@ 01srainey: Ah, that could be the reason then. Seems a bit odd though as id automatically think the PC version would have more of a tolerance for that sorta thing compared to a console considering that version can be tweaked in all sorts of ways through gamer made patches and stuff.
@ Anyone: Can anyone verify that my PNG's in the first post work on XBox360's and other PS3's please. I really only need one person from both consoles just for peace of mind. I would really appreciate it as i need to decide whether its worth carrying on creating them at this size.

Mnnn...not sure mate as i dont have my PS3 on atm. I do know that i tried 900 width and kept it locked to scale from the 800x1168 dimensions and that exceeded the limits so thats why i stayed at 800x1168 for a template.

I just checked and it says:

Suv been doing a few kits myself( on other posts) alwyas come out blurry when stretched to fit, your larger ones are quality still need a bit of stretching but still very clear!!!! Keep up the good work mate, best PNG's for PS3 + mooseybaby's, I might be mistaken but are rainey's kits for PC the chelsea one and west ham one's look quality, i know this aint the kit request thread but can anyone do the crazy umbro GK kits please? Lets hope we can use all these PNG's on 2010, can't wait
Edit- Sorry i only posted this after reading the 1st pages lol how daft do I feel now raineys confirmed he's on pc, BTW the PNG's work fine on PS3

Cheers mate...and you verifying they work on another PS3 is much appreciated. Oh...and i was hoping someone else would do those god damn freaky Umbro GK kits LOL....i dont even wanna try tbh LOL.
@ Anyone interested in my PNG's: I have a slightly edited Chelsea home kit(adidas badge smaller), an edited Everton away(pieces of 3 lines removed at top centre part of shirt) and a totally new PNG from me....Chelsea's away. Once ive tested these out i'll be adding those to the first post so keep an eye out for those

When using Photoshop click on 'Image' along the top of the screen, you'll see 'Image Size' about 6 or 7 things down. Click on it and then you'll see where it shows 800x1168 (for my PNG's) split into two boxes. Make sure the box's called 'Scale Styles' and 'Constrain Proportions' are ticked toward the bottom of the 'Image Size' pop up screen and then change the 800 to something lower that will work for you and it will change the other number to scale automatically. Best to check what your max size of PNG can be on whatever you're playing PES on first though. That way you can just resize once rather than doing it a few times through trial and error. Hope that helps.

Yeah i'll give em a go when i get a chance mate. Home & away that is, as im not attempting any of the Umbro GK tops....they're just insane!...Correction, it would send me insane trying to create them LOL
