Sorry I only played 1 game earlier - It was a mixture of the lag on my end being rather terrible at times and having to go for food.

I might be on later, so I'll see who's on then.

Those last two games were the first where the lag hasn't been unbearable, I'm hoping yesterday and earlier today were just symptoms of the first weekend and not something that will occur regularly.

Strange cos I was getting dreadful lag in the first half of that last game; 2 second delay between me pressing the button and the player carrying out the action. That's why a lot of the time I was just hoofing it up the pitch and we didn't really get going at any point. Thankfully we got a 0-0 in the end against a very good side.

I can play FIFA 11 online, not a problem without the lag. Actually after our VP games, I went again to play some head to head matches, and it wasn't a problem.

So, did you guys experience the lag as well yesterday?

I only experienced bad lag once, when I played as ANY in the match with you in goal and one other guy played. Other than that match, it's been fine.

Technically yes. But it just gives the impression that you are having lunch sometime around 7pm and probably dinner sometime around 12pm. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but it is just a bit different. Out of the norm.

A mixed bag, last night. Once we changed the formation to 4-2-3-1, we were much more creative and productive. I can now see why Jonno was promoting it; he was revelling on the right.

I think we played much better as a team with that formation. There was always enough men back defending, in most instances 6, and then the four of us attacking.

I think when we have a player like Barndoor up front who is tall and a fat bastard, playing a narrow formation like we were (4321) is failing to utilise his biggest threat, heading. 9/10 if you put a ball into him he will win it and either knock it down or use his strength to hold it.

With the 4231 we put in a lot more crosses and seemed to create a lot more space in the middle as our widemen were pulling their defenders out of position all over the place and the CAM was more often than not playing as a second frontman giving us more options.

I'll be making my debut tonight if there's people playing. I'm gonna try get my guy a bit decent now first as I haven't done anything at all really yet, pro wise.

It also gives one of the defensive midfielders license to make late runs into the box. For example, when you sent a cross to the back post, I chested and slammed it into the roof of the net.

hows the default keepers ? is it better just having ai as gk ? i've unlocked gk kicking and throwing, which basically increases the distance of my kicks ( before the ball would go to halfway line, now they go abit further ) and throws. 1 on 1's with a human GK is much better than an ai GK though, far too easy to knock it in as they stick to their line unless called out
