Thought that was a good session last night, things are definitely on the up. I was disappointed to have dc'd straight away in that Liverpool game, because of course winning that would have given me great pleasure. I was hoping my messages of rousing hate would inspire you all but alas not.

Yeah, decent session. Some good wins but a couple of disappointing losses, I didn't have a great night so I've decided to shave the ponytail off. That had to be the issue! One note, if we're playing 3-4-3 or a derivative we can't have both CMs attacking at the same time.

Does anyone know if there is a way to make our backline stay deeper? Other teams defend far deeper than we do.

Maybe the team captains has to set tactics with the d-pad as ultra defensive. It wouldnt affect us (barring corner and free kick positions but we can wait to fill the box before taking it) just the cpu.

Yeah, that might be an idea. Reminds me, guys if you get put at the back for a corner make sure you stay back else we are very vulnerable to getting caught on the break.

Anytime I play, my VP is always back for the corner. Even when I played a game as the striker once. Very odd.

I don't mind sitting back a lot when I play in midfield, as long as I get the odd run forward to attack. I don't think I have the stamina to do more.

I should be able to get on tonight, as I've no work.

Mine can't head very well either. Pretty slow too but there isn't a great deal I can do there. It annoys me when I'm at right back and I'm placed at the far post for our corners. I have no chance of getting back in position if we get hit on the counter.

Think everyone put in a decent shift last night.

Anyway, I hate to single people out but I honestly believe that me and Original are best in the CAM/ RF and LF positions (in a 3-4-2-1 formation). As soon as we switched to that formation, we seemed to have a better link up with each other, and Barn as the striker. Also, in games the midfield of Bam, Jonno, Joel and Phats smashed it man. Just seems like our best formation, at least when most of us are on at the same time.

Andy you played a blinder at CB one of the games aswell, can't remember which, but you made countless interceptions man. You're getting much better at reading the game and stopping those little afro cunts.

What happened to Nikos? We really need a goalkeeper, human goalkeepers are infinitely superior to a CPU goalkeeper. As far as I'm concerned they need to be weakened as at the moment they are generally infallible and their reactions defy the laws of physics. We seem to be coming up against more and more teams with them and I think it's no coincidence that you see more of them the higher the ratings of the opposition. Side footing against them seems impossible, lace shots can beat them but you need to hit them right in the corner. I wouldn't mind if you came up against someone who was genuinely good in goal, unfortunately it's an essentially automated process.

Just to let you guys know, I've made my guy into a tall fag (6'1). He's still got 81 for Sprint Spreed, so should be pretty handy on the floor still, just thought we could do with a bit more height in the team.

Oh yeah, and, for a laugh, I gave him pink boots and made him ginger and fuck ugly - but that's neither here nor there.

Yeah, speaking of corners human GKs pluck them out of the air with consummate ease.

We do seem to have turned a bit of a corner, the passing was generally better last night though we still got stuck a bit in the middle of the park. To be fair though with the lag and the crowded spaces it can be very difficult. I liked playing just off BarnDoor again, we seemed to link up well... the one goal in 1-1 draw (fix) was sublime.

That was indeed, as soon as that pass reached you I was thinking 'Please finish...' and you duly did. I missed a few in that 2-0 match but I like to think I made amends by setting up our goals.

I also hate human GK, they really need to sort them out.

I thought about that. It's only really Barn who is capable of getting a header on goal from a corner, the rest of us in the box are basically just making up numbers. Short corners should help with getting hit on the counter too, as has happened numerous times when the keeper claims the ball and starts an attack.
