I was thinking "please take the shot, Jonno" cause in that game I had skied a header and a left footed volley. Felix probably saw the ball as he descended from the edge of space.
The comical own goal was the penultimate game I believe. That could only happen to us.

that was as close to an own goal as you can come without actually having one. I stepped back into the loose ball and it deflected pretty hard off my body. I think the opposing player did nothing but save me the embarrassment. Then again if I didn't step back he was going to have a free foot at it anyway.
I do notice that the first touch feature is more pronounced in the box. Hard to get a ball in control when in close.
I mentioned in the shoutbox that I came into the match I was red-carded with a chip on my shoulder. I deserved it because I already had pre-thought that I was going to be physical.

[MENTION=29007]Bish[/MENTION] was excellent at CB last night. It was like we were Barcelona the way we were playing it out from the back rather than panicking and hoofing it up the field. I wouldn't have had the balls to play a pass in those areas of the pitch; would've ended up booting it up top.
Good performances overall in Division 3 so far bar one game where we got taken apart by 3 quick goals. The last game was frustrating as we created a lot of good chances towards the end and could've easily got a draw out of it at the least.

Those three quick goals were a nightmare. No surprise we had three CPU controlled central defenders for that one.

Apparently DF was open in the middle in that last game when I took a shot and the keeper parried it out then phat had his chance. I was caught up in the heat of the moment and I didn't see you. Still I broke my goal scoring duck in the game before so the blood rushed to my head thinking I could bag 2 in 2....
I apologise for my overall shitness. Haven't played fifa properly since early this year, and barring 3 online games, the pro games are the only times i've played FIFA 13, so i'm still getting used to the new feel of the game, expect me to come good in time for '14.

Yeah. I thought Bish, Fab and I made a good trio. We played some good football as a whole, though, with some nice passing moves.
I think it was just before that. I think Barn played the ball to you, but he looked left, I would've been put into a one-on-one with the GK. No guarantees, of a goal, of course.
I think I'm going to invest all future EAS points on physical traits, as I'm currently too slow and get tired way too quickly.
Once we start playing, I think there's a general assumption that if someone is online and wants to play, they'll come along themselves. Sorry :tongue:

That last game they had a superhuman GK so we needed to score the shit goal - the opportunity just never came. Closest was probably that triple-tap I fizzed across the box. If Jonno was about 8 foot taller it might have worked...

You guys missed an epic final game where me and [MENTION=29007]Bish[/MENTION] played against another team with two players. We were 2-0 and 3-1 down during the match but ended up winning 4-3 with me scoring a last minute winner. Scoring two goals from corners really helped us out as we were struggling to break down their 5 man defence. 4 points with 6 games to go so we are in a good position to at least not get relegated again.

Last night's session was beyond awful. We could really do with you Berry to give us a platform from the back.
That game where I hit the post twice in a minute and the CPU gave them a wank penalty at the end - words failed me.
I've shortened my guy to 5.8. Since barely any of you fuckers put in good crosses that won't really matter for heading purposes but it may reduce my chances of winning flick ons from goal kicks. I figure I may as well be faster since I often run the channels and we play more through the centre when attacking.
