Do you use L1 when you cross?
I was the only human user to miss a penalty in the shoot out last night :crynaldo:

Sometimes, I go through all the different ones barring triple tap so far.
Double tap is supposed to be near post right, some of them end up going way past the back post and nowhere near front post etc

Well played last night. A man down after about 9 minutes and we won the cup final on penalties!! The negative talk before the penalties wasn't very inspiring though! :tongue:
I think you're getting confused with the PES crossing. In FIFA, double cross is just a low and more powerful cross. Mine usually go out for a throw-in :blush: so I stick to the single cross.
Go to controller settings as there are crossing variations so you can select:
Assisted: "Cross direction will be assisted towards a team mate. Cross power will be assisted to front or back post areas and there will be no power bar on the cross"
Semi: "You have to choose the right power, but cross direction will be assisted to front and back post areas"
Manual: "The direction you point is the direction the pass goes, and the longer you hold the button to perform crosses, the stronger the cross will be"
I use Manual where have a bit more control over where it goes.

I hate penalties on clubs. There is just enough of a button lag for me that I can't center that slider. My mental preparation yesterday was to shoot while the slider was in the read heading to green. But I was betting there would be no lag and I would misfire. Psychological torture while waiting. I am just glad I didn't have to step up to the spot.

Apologies for the red, don't know what came over me, thought the guy was about to turn in to me, but he did fuck all and I took him out.
Yup, makes sense seeing as I used to be all about PES. Will try manual tonight.
I'm having that problem. Seems as if I have to stop it when I see it in the red, cause when I hit it on the green on my screen, it moves forward extra due to the lag.

I don't have a clue what's going on with the overall ratings changing now since the update. At first I thought it was based on present form of your VP but when you score 2 goals and get a 9.9 rating, and your overall drops 2 points, it obviously isn't connected to form.

Did you buy any online pro boosts from the EAS FC catalogue? I had about 15k EAS FC credits so I bought a load of boosts which took me up to 85 but yesterday I was at 81. Also, the celebrations I bought from the EAS FC catalogue didn't seem to be working bar the first match we played.

I think it is to do with EAS boosts being removed. I bought a bunch of boosts to take my guy from 78 to 80, but then he dropped back down to 78. I hope boosts aren't short term. Are they meant to be?

Bish you are talking about the overall match ratings and not your overall rating correct. The 10 pts scale versus the 100pt scale.
I am creeping along to a 79, but my overall match rating is probably a 5.9. It reminds me of my undergraduate grades. Get an A and it barely creeps my GPA but bomb a class and I drop precipitously. My pass pct success is so low in 13 compared to 12. I might be a little higher after last night.
