i like ronaldo, he may be fat and getting on a bit now but he's still awesome on the game. also david suazo and ibrahimovic are both excellent choices.

FRED - think he plays for Lyon.

Haven’t signed him in 2008 yet but in PES6, 2nd season, hard to knock off the ball when he does it never goes to far and he forces his way through, great vision, good in the air, good shot, regular scorer.

Tried Schwarz but just couldn’t get him to score enough, as bad as playing with Owen sometimes.

It's all down to personal opinion, if they feel he's that good they'll make him that good. The good thing about PES2008 is the option to edit attributes

Im the opposite, I dont think he is that good on the game, and watching him live, as a Newcastle fan, he is no-where near the player he used to be.

If they then say its only because he isnt fully fit, then maybe that he is always injured?

It's because he's on the cover of the game. Remember what they did with Adriano in PES6.

In PES6 Owen wasn't as good as he is in PES2008. In real life Owen if anything has only depreciated but since he's the cover guy for PES2008 they felt they owed it to him to make him superb.

totally agree with you mate...kinda sucks wen your playing against him though...he's too quick!! lol...n got too much strength for some reasons...n why is his air abilities so good? no where near that good in real life...he scored a header against me when i was brazil...just too unrealistic!!
