agreed it looks very special especially the added curl on the long pass and the way players move to recieve the through ball.Also notice the greater freedom in directional passing.
360 movement is something you feel while playing its not always something mega noticable while watching.
Massive improvement to the fluidity and animation though plus its only 80% so theres tweaking still to be done.

The sprinting turning circle is exactly like PES2009 but sprinting shouldn't be 360º anyway. Still waiting to see someone actually play the game properly and only sprint when they're in space.

You know what, didnt even realise these vids were, till i saw the fifa forum guys pissing themselves at this shit, so took a look.
That 360 movement doesnt look right to me, looks fucking real rigid.
Passing animations might be better, think tackling animations might have improved as well.
They've crammed that 360 in you know, doesnt look right to me so far, still rigid.
Looks very much like an updated pes 2009.

After all the hype bout animations they are a huge let down....
A Jockey button is a must for realism for me now, it just dosnt seem to play like a real game without it...
i'll still give the demo a good go, but i just cant see it being great again(this year)...

Ill try to take a more in depth look, but talking about the gameplay itself, im actually shocked after seeing that video.
Konami actually had me thinking this was gonna be the game, i always thought fifa would be better this year, but a few days ago I though they had seriously closed the gap.
Some of these vids doesnt look miles away from the 50% build people were slating.

Maybe they're being honest? We've already seen a few different builds this year, one of which didn't even have the 360 degree movement in. So it's completely feasible that there is a few different demos knocking about. Either way, the video of the gameplay in the first post looks decent to me so I don't mind.

It does look better than 09 and im sure it will play better too...
I just think there wasting money on player faces that you only see in cut scenes really and animations that dont look much improved.. they have had the same producers they have had for years, maybe the well has run dry..!!!
TBH i think they need to make a huge investment and bring in some European developers....

I cant pretend this looks like an amazing step forward, just cant do it.
Fair enough, im sure the user content will be real nice.
But in terms of actual gameplay, this doesnt cut it for me.
On the net right now, the response isnt great, particulary on youtube. (thats being nice too)

Apparently they were "stunnned in slilence" when they heard the gamescom news...fucking el, mate, when i saw that video expecting great things, i felt like stone cold steve austin gave me a stunner.
Only thing good to come out of this is
1) Evo web for saying a big fuck you and breaking NDA so people who buy this shit didnt have to salivate anymore for the game whilst wenb and konami bullshit people into making them think its incredible.
2) Pesgaming for
a) doing an honest playtest which after seeing this vid, is the only credible one about ive seen.
b) reporting facts, not bullshit.

You can't be expecting a good response on YouTube, that's even more silly than the comments on their site. I'm genuinely surprised it hasn't already escalated into a mass racist argument.
Personally, I think we have to play the game to really feel the difference, and for me, the game looks solid, I've always been an optimist so that will no doubt contribute towards my opinions. I even enjoyed PES 2009, so I'll feel in heaven with PES 2010 by the looks of things. "If" online is completely fixed, and is similar to PES6's quality, then I'll be playing it all year round.
meh. dont really want to pass judgment. as it seems to be every year we get a bunch of videos played by retards! they all suck! i dont think i saw one decent bit of skill, pass or long range effort. the people who go to gamescon seem to be the people you play online who just run down the wing and pass across goal!
i really do hope there are a ton more animations, these can help create a better fell and atmosphere in game. i liked it that in fifa you could press lb to tell a teamate to run for a through ball and they would point to the space, just little authentic things like that, doest take too much effort but makes the game feel alot more polished.

It's just the little touches, the way the passes flow into the running animations etc. In my opinion the engine wasn't that broken in the first place, it just needed to be more fluent. All I really wanted was a revamped master league and a really good online mode. If I get all three of those (looks like 2 are sorted already) I'll be a happy man.
