Ok, I understand what everybody is doing and we all know it probably isn't true considering what konami have been doing to us in the last 2 years.
I have a few points I'd like to present for arguement's sake.
-Not much shown at gamescom, nothing 'impressive', and konami knew that this wasn't going to impress very much. People have been shouting animations at konami, they know that fifa is the benchmark and that it is crucial to reach that level. Why all this hype? for nothing? sure seems like it.
-Konami said that they have been working on the game for 2 years, can't remember source.
-Why would he say all this? Isn't there a better way to get attention, 'streaking'? What's the point if we're all going to see the game, he sees that the reactions aren't really positive but persists, why?
-adam on wenb said before gamescom that something that made everybody open-mouthed would be anounced and put down suggestions that it would be 360 degree control, saying it wasn't nearly big enough. We haven't heard anythin big since.
-believe what you wan't, but I really feel that this is plausible, espectially after the gameplay manager's blog on working late
-before I forget, adam has been hinting on the euphoria engine, with comments such as " the force is strong with this one", and the title"gamescom to be full of (E)motion"
