Here's how my team shaping up now
still struggling to qualify in the crappy kick rush 5 minute matches ,
but strangely been doing great in the management tourny's,got t the semi's the other day .The oponents just had ridiculously good squads .
Brandao just got his 100th goal in 130 matches ,he's a total beast .
All my players worth has gone down though:lol:, does this mean they are less popular with other mlo players or the other way round?
This mlo is just way to addictive , Iv'e been getting home and just murdering it till stooopid o'clock every night .
I tell you what i've been struggling recently against those guys that have ridiculous formation with front four pushed right up and whenever they get teh ball they just pump it up field .Is this maybe the messi runners trying to come to terms with the new gameplay,yes, no doubt.

Yeah I don't even bother with coach mode anymore. I really think a star studded team is needed if you want to win the cup, which I don't have. Most of the time it will just be draws or losses to superior teams (although usually inferior players...).
By the way, where can you see the player's stats for your team? (Brandao 100 goals in 130 matches) I'll have to have a look later when I play.

What I'd also really like to see is some sort of filter so that I don't have to play against anyone from Spain, Italy or France. I know its discriminating but 9 times out of 10 the match is either extremely laggy or they have some ridiculous team with a crappy manager rating. So if you beat them, there's not much of a reward but if you lose or draw your rating takes a big hit.
Yesterday I played some guy with Ronaldo, Eto'o, Sneijder, Schweinsteiger and others but his manager rating was 401. Conceded a cheap late equalizer and of course my rating has to drop like 15 points...

These guy's are cheaters and thy don't play for rating, they play for money, scoring own-goals in competitions for make a lot of money.
I play to against player like this ( whit Ronaldo and other stars in team) and manager rating was betwen 400 and 450. In my opinion these loosers don't know how to play PES 2011. Konami has to do something for these cheaters.

I only found out the other day as well.
Go too squad list and press one of the shoulder buttons, where your player's overall stat is ( next to the player's name), it will show you.

yeah press R2 instead of R1, and it'll go through the stats.
btw, sorry for the repeat question but does anybody know how to play with the MLO teams against a friend online? even if its unranked.

i think its the skill rating you see after every game. start off at 500 and depending if you win or lose it changes.

They got on my nerves as well I played a game against one guy and no word of a lie everytime he got the ball he booted it instantly to the corner flags and rushed up behind my defence, the only way to stop him was to boot it straight back at him, at which point the game ended up as a ridiculous rugby-football hybrid farce...
Tbh I havent played MLO since that day, I got fed up playing people who create tactics to just exploit match engine bugs like the crappy fullbacks so the they have some guy permastood as far right/left as they will go to boot the ball to on the counter.

Yeah I've got a couple of bargains: Cahill (rated 68) & Iaquinta (rated 74) are actually much better if you change their position.
There's also Culina who I mentioned earlier, I checked again and his price is only 1.3 million. Very cheap for someone with 75 rated stats in all areas..
