As mentioned elsewhere, I recently started a new ML with Newell's Old Boys (the one in the Argentina league, without updated transfers!). I seem to be winning most games, though I've suffered a few scares in the Copa Suda America. So far I've signed:

Max Clayton (would've signed Clough if they put him in the game :mad: )
A. Correa - loan
I. Toure - loan
S. Bergwijn

I've agreed to sign Y. Soteldo and P. Dybala ( :joel: ) in the next transfer window.

What is it with you and this guy? I checked him out yesterday - he's only rated 62 at the beginning. How well does he develop?

I love the lad, IRL and on the game. He's a true Porto-like player, fearless, always gives it all, great leadership, portuguese :smug: etc etc. Really like his style too, keeps it simple, plays calmly but fast.

As for the game, he is hugely undervalued regarding his passing, he's one of the best passers around in Liga NOS, better than Quaresma if you ask me, and 1000% better than Casemiro (who was almost 20 more in his passing stats). Same with Brahimi (he's undervalued regarding explosion and dribbling). In the patch I'm using he has 69 OVR after a few "corrections". Nevertheless in my Porto ML he was still 60 OVR, and developed steadily. IIRC he was around 77 after 5 seasons.

I just love to play with him, I can always do perfectly timed interceptions and tackles, as I know how far I can go with him it's rare I lose the ball, and as his passing is great he's an excellent build up player. It's rare to score goals with him, assists are a bit easier, but either way his job on my teams is to break up the opposition plays and start my own. And I can do it to perfection with him. The only drawback is the more-often-than-not shitty ratings, but I can live with that.

Also he is kinda weak physically ingame, but seems to keep rather well with pressure.

As another example: Varane was waayyy better than the regen Rafa Márquez, but I never quite played as well with the frenchman as I played with Rafa.

I signed him (Correa) on loan with a view to a permanent. Not sure how that works.... do I have to pay extra if I want to sign him?

BTW, who is that G. Guedes you mentioned? Reason I ask is because I signed this guy in my Fifa career mode:

From my experience, I think the "Option to buy" pre-establishes a transfer fee (which you can't see), and a uear later you will be offered the option to keep the player for that fee. It is often a much lower value than if you bought the player as you normally do.

G. Guedes is indeed Gonçalo Guedes, from Benfica. Promises a lot, very good dribbling, reasonably accurate shot from distance, etc. He isn't in the game (who knew? ), but the patch I'm using included him (it fixes an awful lot of missing players/transfers).

I remember he scored a few good long ranged shots for me on Fifa.

Reminds me - if you create a player in edit mode, what determines how they develop in ML? Is it just based on position? Back in the day they used to have an attribute which determined how they developed - eg Early Peak etc.

AFAIK there is no such thing in PES2015. The best way for us to control that might be to copy a player which we know to develop in the way we want, and then edit him. Can't see any other options.

Getting back on topic: as for my ML... after an impressive 4-0 win against United I was in 1st place. Two games to go, Burnley and Palace. Needless to say I won the League. A shocking result, when the season started I didn't expect to win EPL right away.

Got Jeff Hendrick, Wisdom, the big SS Torgeir Børven, regen Riise and a regen CB whose name escapes me at the moment. Wisdom seems to be an excellent RB, I expect Hendrick to offer tough competition to Hughes, Borven to be Gylfi's successor, Riise is the man we know. As for the CB it was just to fill the 4th defender spot.

Anybody here got Odegaard? How's he doing?

Yet another missing player, yet again from the Portuguese League. My housemate is from Setubal, near Lisbon, and he's doing a ML with Vitória de Setubal. Nearly half the team is incorrect. But this cases I can understand (not accept, understand), because it's a small team.

Now, one of the only three licensed teams, and there are still players missing? This is probably one of the few players they needed to change/add in the entire Benfica squad! And it seems they even managed to remove Jonas, who's being the best player in the team, and one of the best forwards in Europe since January. Fuck off Konami, fuck off.

I understand the Odegaard is still at Castilla, but c'mon, this is a game. They should have put him there. But I guess it would have taken too much work.

Will Hughes just flourished, only needed one game. The man was insane... Now at 80 OVR, 20 years of age, almost halfway through 2015/2016 season.

Not sure what's going on with my league, I'm about 15points ahead in December, in the Argentine league, and my team has already "celebrated" winning the title. :unsure:
I've still go over half the games to play..... very weird indeed.

Sometimes the players celebrate the winning of derbies, or specially tough games. Unless it clearly shows the "Newell's Old Boys League Winner" banner or similar during that same cutscene, it's just a mid-season party.

Everton was last in my ML. Just lost to them, 4-3, in the unluckiest game I remember. Those fuckers had 6 shots on goal, (all either from those passes from the wingers or curling shots from the corner of the penalty area), I had 10. Howard made at least 5 impossible defences.

It's actually because the Argentine season is split in two.... a bit weird, but for once it's not a Konami issue. ;)

I started ML with several clubs,Real Madrid,Barcelona,Manchester City,Chelsea,Bayern Munich,Juventus,AC Milan...Real Madrid with original memmbers are powerhouse but i take it to the next level,curently i'm in 2024/25 season and i will show you my team.The best player overall in the whoke game's Ronaldo Brasil and he's got 101 score at my team
i have something like 3 ace players for each position,don't know did i make mistake selling Makelele and buying Mascerano,but if i would need Makelele i'm gonna re buy it,for example on that possition of DMF i got Pirlo,Gerard amd Mascerano,also i need LB to buy R.Carlos,coz i got allready A.Cole and P.Evra on that position :)

And I wouldn't be able to play with the default faces and hairs from the classics as well, that Ronaldo is absolute shit.

Just for curiosity, which season are you playing atm, when did Lescott retired, and from Ferdiannd vs Lescott, which is better?
