Just finished my 3rd season, won Charity Shield and Premier League. Lost the FA Cup final to Southamton. Got knocked out of the Champions League in the first knockout stage again.
Nice little cash injection at the end of the season.
Team ain't looking too bad after I picked up Ramos and Luiz for around £40 million at the end of the season. I'll probably be getting rid of Kompany, he's getting on a bit.
Last season I bought a 36 year old Ibrahimovic for £32 million and had huge regrets until this nice offer came along.
Picked up Suarez and Kane, cost about the same price as what I sold Ibrahimovic for.

Yes, 4-4-2. And regarding the number of games - this is the South American ML remember. As I mentioned in the past, if you stay in all cup competitions, it's over 70 matches in a season.
BTW, don't send your Proteges out on loan, they lose their role. I sent a lvl 2 protege out, he lost is role and his ovr stayed the same.

I never loan players, in the exceedingly rare case of a shit player making it to the team I'll sell or fire him as soon as I have the chance. That's how I roll, no excuses :folarm:
Talking about Proteges, Renato Sanches was a lvl 3 one, and then "improved" to a lvl 1 Leader. Never saw it coming.

Yes I have them both but unfortunately only signed them 5 or 6 seasons in so by that point Ronaldo was in fully regression and Messi was starting to decline. I just did it for the $$$$$$$

hmy:Yea me too - Thats one of the downsides to the game, and it always has been as far as I can remember, especially with the use of Legends, GMs etc this year.
You should get some real benefit for loaning your players out, like picking a team with few players in that position so it increased guarantied playing time.
Maybe something to work on for the next one Konami :wink2:

Uuum… I was expecting more to be honest. At least closer to 80 OR. Some of those stats could, and should be higher…Attacking prowess 71 & Finishing 73!?
Still, with the right training (plus boost) and regular game time he could be the next Totti..? Its down to you now to unleash his potential - no pressure....that is if you sign him up..?
Also, what's regen Ronaldo like..?

Oh, I won't buy him. I've even sold Zé Roberto (who's turned into a beast) and Valeron (really liked him though) so I know have a 99% portuguese squad again (Helton stays). I'll post my squad in a few days.
Ronaldo is the opposite of Ibra, almost no dribbling or passing, but way better finishing and speed, while fairly similar in physical attributes (better jump, worse body balance).

So I decided to spend my hard earned cash on an old Bandiera (Rooney) yesterday, to give my players an additional boost for what is likely to be my final season (season 5). Big mistake.... he was demoted to Superstar level 3 as soon as I signed him!!!!! The same did not happen when I signed a Legend (Messi)?? I also signed another Grand Master (Lewandowski). So my forwards have got a nice development boost for my final season. On the downside, my wage bill is like £84m! :huh:

You weren't paying attention...
we found that out a while ago. My signing was Iniesta, also demoted.Bandieras are players that "stayed with the team for years", i.e. loyalty. Makes sense they lose that role when they swap teams. This said, Legends are overpowered Superstars, they are that good not because they were loyal, but because they "were on top of their game" or something.

Doesn't count if it's a regen.....
To be fair though, no current ML player can match up to the ones in the PES6 (and other PS2 era games) days. They don't develop as much. Even PES 2011 - I had 2 players (Aguero and Rodrigo Moreno) that reached over 100OVR.

The original one is probably just has good (forget it, he's way better), but he's already 26.
Agazzi was the best keeper ever in PES8 or something after a few seasons. Gio Van Bronckhorst was my favourite player in PES6, and the best alongside Shevchenko.
I don't remember my PES2013 ML outside the classics, but with that development, Pogba, James, Gotze etc were definitely 109 rated players after a few seasons.

Doesn't matter how shit he is, I'd still class him as "fake". The development curves for regens are insane. Personally, I couldn't feel any accomplishment in developing an already ludicrously highly rated fake 16yr old Totti, for example (who, btw, is still playing in my game, age 43!).
