So, I decided to start a new ML this weekend, with Corinthians. I wanted to clear up a few PS4 trophies, and wanted to get the treble in my first season..... I failed at the first hurdle, thanks to a bullshit rival 2-legged cup tie against Santos. Nevertheless I decided to carry on with it in the hope that I can develop a few players and win it in 2nd season (I signed Martial and Alli, because why not?).

Sounds good Ali, I'm sure Martial will be a star for you. He's up to 85 OR and still developing for me after a red arrow flourish recently.

I would strongly advise you to sign a Grand Master as soon as you have the funds available - especially a forward if you want to boost Martial's training stats. After 4 seasons (and half way through my 5th) with Mallorca having signed 10 GMs, I can say I have never seen so much player development growth so rapidly - This is the best way of getting the highest OR from your players in my opinion.

In my 4th season with Ajax, brought Zlatan in the summer, helped by the accumulation of nearly 270 million Euros in transfer fees :erm: won my second consecutive Eredivisie title with two games to spare, will probably move on after this season.

In the final of the KNVB cup against Feyenoord and in the CL semi's where I've just lost 1-0 to Barca at the Nou Camp, injury time Neymar winner.

In keeping with the complete lack of realism in the transfer market, Barca had Jerome Boateng at right-back, David Alaba at left back, Sergio Ramos at centre back and Lassana Diarra in centre mid, and he's captain too.

They really need to sort out the duplicate players in the next game, and the duplicate teams, ie only ONE version of each player in ML, and ONE version of each team in the game. Or at least give them the same squads.

As mentioned, I picked Corinthians for my ML, but it looks like I might have picked the "wrong" one. There's this guy in my team - C. Nogueira. An 18yr old left footed SS. I thought, oooh this guy is pretty good, I reckon he could turn out as good as Malcom, if not better than Malcom. Well, the joke's on me, turns out this guy IS Malcom:

FYI, they've changed his face, so he doesn't look the same as Malcom, hence me believing that he was a different player. Why the fuck is he in a Corinthians team, if he's already in the Bordeaux team? It's a load of bollocks. Whoever is managing the database for this game needs fucking sacking. Clearly not up to the task. He's not the only player who plays for more than one team.

For some reason Celtic don't show up in my Europa or CL. I checked their team info & it says they're 'ineligible' for whatever reason. However, my other created teams (Fenerbahce, Shakhtar, CSKA) do feature. Do clubs have to be at least 4 star rated to feature?. My Celtic is 3 & a half rated :erm:

I don't thnk it has to do eith ratingd. try eith domr other teams that have lower than four stars. Maybe it's just a matter of design of the game, they amde it impossible to put such teams in those competitions,

Did you use one of the 3 fake Serie B teams to create them? If so they could be locked out from CL/EL. What season are you in?

I've boosted their rating to 3 & a half but they're still not featuring for some reason. However I did the same to Anderlecht & they've suddenly shown up in the Europa. All my other European created teams appear in Europe except Celtic & they was all created by overwriting the Other fake European teams. I'm bloody perplexed :erm:.

Anyway, I've resorted to adding them to the Portuguese league, replacing Vitor Guameria (a Europa team). It's not ideal having a Scottish team in there but hey at least all my created clubs now feature lol :blush:.

Back on topic, some pics from my Porto ML. The end-of-the-season report is almost here, some goals and other videos, and the stats. For now, only random stuff.

Some of the best goalkeeping I've seen in this game. Buffon was truly unplayable. But the rest of the team... easiest matches I've had in UCL.

Perfect off side line placement, and refereeing decision.

And while we're on the subject of stats, which do you check religiously after each game?. My mind tends to get frazzled by too many specifics (distance covered etc) so I generally just check the player ratings .

I'm obsessed with pass completion. Anything under 80 is completely unacceptable, under 85 is okay, preferably over that 85 mark. Mostly with midfielders, I've come to the conclusion having high passing accuracy with those is fulcral to achieve what I call a "good game".

Other than that, just the ratings.

Oh, and congratz on the result today. You were far superior, outplayed them clearly.

I too had the happen to me, low rated players that somehow just feel right.

And speaking of developments. I had to create Renato Sanches. I think he's gonna peak around 22 years of age.

How on earth can Konami think any football player (I know, exceptions, but still) peaks when they have just 2 years of professional football (most times)?

I'm still baffled by their logic when they removed the "Development Style" option.

I started ML today and I have edited a lot. PEU League is now Greek League so I started my ML with Olympiakos. I play at Superstar difficulty level.
At the start of the season I sold David Fuster for 4,6 mio, bought a backup LB, 22-year old M. Schulz from Mönchengladbach for 5 mio.
At the moment I am first in the league with 12 points, 4 wins, 0 wins or draws. In Champions League I drew with Manchester City 1-1.
I'll probably buy some attacking power on winter transfer period, but right now I am on -11 mio at my budget, lol I'll post more.

They do it about 300 bazillion times a match, in the same voice and it drives me mad. Do you know what they're saying? Is it just jibberish? I know "bola" means "ball", so I'm guessing it's that?
